Responsible to carry out Continuing Airworthiness management tasks for each aircraft in the EFTA fleet to ensure ongoing compliance with regulatory and manufacturers requirements, and enable the most efficient operational use of aircraft operated. Job Outline: – Assisting in developing and managing a maintenance programme for each type of aircraft operated to comply with relevant approved maintenance data. Ensure maintenance programme content is properly reflected in the maintenance planning and tracking system(s). Support the analysis of the effectiveness of the Approved Maintenance Programme or Reliability Programme. – Review and extract information and supporting data in preparation for technical review meetings. Monitor System Alerts and Monthly Technical Performance and Productivity Reports and propose technical solutions. Ensure resources and manpower available is supportive of the business needs allowing targets/milestones set to be adequately met. – Track aircraft utilization and plan the performance of maintenance in the most efficient manner to ensure maximum aircraft availability whilst continuing to comply with the maintenance programme requirements. Plan and provide work orders and work packages to the maintenance organization – Prepare documents for the accomplishment of airworthiness reviews. Maintain and complete accurate aircraft records within a timely manner including all required entries in the aircraft log books, records of Airworthiness Directives and other airworthiness authority requirements, All Operator correspondence, Service bulletins, Service information letters together with all related correspondence. Control the archiving of aircraft records and ensuring that records are updated within a timely manner. Shop visit reports of aircraft, engine and components and all completed maintenance records are retained safely and securely for the required period. – Control and manage technical data used within the organization including company documents and manufacturer publications, including renewal of subscriptions and distribution to copy holders. Ensure proper maintenance and revision of all evaluated documents, technical publications, technical notices, engineering advisory notices etc. are free from error. – Evaluate all applicable airworthiness directives and manufacturers publications to ensure all mandatory actions are carried out within the required timescale and properly recorded in the aircraft records. – Ensure mass and balance records remain current and up to date to maintain the configuration of aircraft in the Emirates Flight Training Academy fleet. – Make recommendations for the accomplishment of non-mandatory actions when considered to be in the interests of Emirates Flight Training Academy. Monitor reports from engine trend monitoring programmes to determine if additional maintenance actions are required, and prepare work orders/documentation accordingly. Analyse defect reports raised, which might affect the airworthiness of the aircraft and safety of its occupants – Participate in the determination of responses to audit findings and implement corrective and preventive actions to non-conformities raised during audits. Support all audits conducted of the department – Ensure that manual revisions are distributed to any contracted maintenance organisations in a timely manner, and that the technical publications used by the contracted maintenance organisation are current at all times.
