As an expert in the NEOM style, you will ensure that all communication materials align with our strategic vision and maintain a consistent tone of voice while producing content for the Government Services division. A significant aspect of this role involves collaborating effectively with internal stakeholders and external agencies, which requires exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills. The role is also dotted line reporting to the Head of Content Marketing, as you will serve as a key stakeholder in enabling the Government Services division to achieve its Lead, and Brand targets by continuously improving content strategies and keeping them at the forefront of your efforts. The role has a key relationship with the Snr. Manager of Marketing for Government Services in delivering to content requirements gathered and supporting the Government Services division’s objectives.<p><br></p><strong>Key Accountabilities &amp; Activities</strong><p><br></p>Content Management<p><br></p>Agency Management<p><br></p>Reporting<p><br></p>Risk Management<p><br></p><ul><li> Assign and edit of a wide range of content, whether it is with a team on the ground or agencies working remotely, ensuring that it is aligned with NEOM’s house style and messaging and Government Services team’s requirements. </li><li> Content includes press materials for Government Services, stories for the website, in-depth internal reports and presentation decks. </li><li> Write clear, compelling and on brand copy and content for various mediums for the Government Services brand including digital media, website, EDMs, socials, wholesale marketing and packaging </li><li> Contribute to developing creative concepts for marketing initiatives in response to marketing briefs </li><li> Develop and execute copy for brand and product campaigns including creative &amp; aspirational taglines </li><li> Edit and proofread copy as needed </li><li> Manage copy proofs, feedback, and changes </li><li> Be aware of and understand strategies and objectives from different departments to inform creative copy outputs </li><li> Contribute to the design and implementation of Neom Government Services strategic communication objectives and goals by providing innovative communications content </li><li> Develop, implement, and update content operational plans and oversee their implementation to take part in the realization of the envisioned future of NEOM Government Services </li><li> Collaborate with relevant NEOM staff members, stakeholders and leaders to identify required projects and initiatives that support the achievement of NEOM Government Services strategic communications vision </li><li> Strategic advice and direction </li><li> Monthly task creation &amp; assignment </li><li> Day-to-day management and project communications, stand ups etc </li><li> QA of all creative implementation </li><li> QA of all campaign changes </li><li> Have good knowledge of tracking best practices in order to report correctly </li><li> Be able to report on budgets spent and targets to date for channels worked on </li><li> Work closely with the Analytics team to create reporting dashboards that give all the metrics needed for channels worked on </li><li> Responsible for the identification and management of risk in day to day responsibilities </li><li> Comply with NEOM policies and procedures including completing mandatory training within the required timeframes </li><li> Role model positive risk behaviours and contribute towards a strong risk culture at NEOM </li></ul><p><br></p>Success Criteria<p><br></p><ul><li> Embraces change – is not afraid to challenge the status quo by implementing new innovative solutions to maximise the effectiveness of the channel/s you own </li><li> Adaptable – can quickly handle new and urgent situations that come your way in a calm, cool and collected manner </li><li> Communications – can effectively communication with peers, internal stakeholders and outside agencies. </li><li> Organised – Can juggle competing priorities effectively and compile project roadmaps </li></ul><p><br></p><strong>Background, Skills &amp; Qualifications</strong><p><br></p><strong> Knowledge, Skills and Experience </strong><p><br></p><ul><li> Proven experience, 6yrs+ in content writing and management </li><li> Experience both copywriting and journalism preferred </li><li> You are a grammar and punctuation wiz. </li><li> Proficiency in project management tools such as JIRA and Confluence </li><li> Hands on experience with managing agencies </li><li> Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritise work </li><li> Attention to detail and problem-solving skills </li><li> Excellent written and verbal communication skills </li><li> Strong organisational and planning skills in a fast-paced environment </li><li> A creative mind with an ability to suggest improvements </li></ul><p><br></p><strong>Qualifications</strong><p><br></p><ul><li> Bachelor’s degree in English, journalism, communications, or related discipline </li><li> 6yrs+ of experience in content writing and management </li><li> Experience of both Agency and Client side an advantage </li><li> Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite and Google Docs </li></ul><p><br></p><strong> COMMUNICATION – MAIN STAKEHOLDERS </strong><p><br></p><strong> Internal </strong><p><br></p><strong> External </strong><p><br></p><ul><li> Chief Marketing Officer </li><li> Director of Regions and Sectors Marketing </li><li> Senior Manager Content Marketing </li><li> Senior Manager Government Services Marketing </li><li> Central &amp;
