<p><strong>The Role:</strong><span> </span></p><p><span> We are looking for a smart, creative, and driven professional. A strong visual storyteller and writer who can connect the gaming community with our social media platforms and help us demonstrate our business. We need a storyteller who understands the importance of shooting, producing, and editing engaging videos for the web and social media, considering our client’s needs, our company’s growth, and improving our company’s social footprint. </span></p><p><br></p><p><span>The ideal candidate will be able to handle high-volume and high-quality video work, with the ability to do a high-speed turnaround on tight deadlines while working on visual projects with a longer lead time. The candidate must be able to adapt and improvise in a setting of constantly evolving esports activities and events.</span></p><p><br></p><p><span>This role is perfect for a professional content creator with corporate experience and/or a former multimedia producer who can shoot and edit on professional equipment and tackle a package done on a smartphone if the situation calls for it. We want you for your creative vision, storytelling ability, solutions, and actions. This job requires the wearing of many hats, but you’ll be joining an exciting company that offers amazing opportunities to those comfortable building and creating systems and structures to achieve results. We expect this job to be based in Qatar.</span></p><p><br></p><p> <strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li><span>Shoot, write, produce and edit video packages</span></li><li><span>Effectively and professionally work with our studios and PR Team to develop a product that will create great moments and engagement.</span></li><li><span>Develop&nbsp;ideas from a seed to a powerful “on-air” execution</span></li><li><span>Develop original content through social listening and independent sources.</span></li><li><span>Deliver online content in an engaging, exciting, and accurate way</span></li><li><span>Pitch work-ahead stories and coordinate with your team to develop a plan for impact</span></li><li><span>Write and post daily on all digital and social platforms.</span></li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Knowledge, Skills, and Experience</strong></p><ul><li><span>3-5 years of experience as a video producer, editor, and videographer</span></li><li><span>Excellent written and oral communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills</span></li><li><span>Bachelor’s degree in broadcast journalism or a similar field is a plus</span></li><li><span>Expertise in esports/gaming, videography, editing &amp; content management systems is a must</span></li><li><span>Knowledge of multiple camera types and formats, adobe premiere, and mobile editing apps</span></li><li><span>Organizational skills and the ability to work under tight and longer deadlines</span></li><li><span>Languages: Professional fluency in English is required to communicate with teams in different countries; Professional proficiency in Arabic is a plus.</span></li><li><span>Strong understanding of Social media formats, Trends, and apps like Instagram, Twitch, and Tiktok</span></li><li><span>Experience in the gaming culture and Esports teams is preferable</span></li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Additional Information</strong></p><ul><li><span>Job rank and title will be based on the experience of the successful candidate</span></li><li><span>Relocation available to suitable candidates</span></li><li><span>The ability to seamlessly navigate multiple cultures will be an important element in this person’s success</span></li></ul><p><br></p>
