ABOUT THE HOSPITAL

Part of one of the largest and most prestigious private groups in Kuwait, this private medical clinic is well established and is the largest of its kind in the country. They provide major clinical work which is mostly outpatient with a wide range of medical, surgical, and cosmetic clinics.

They offer an extremely competitive salary which is supplemented by a 20% monthly incentive based upon net profit of earnings for the clinic – which is guaranteed for the first 6 months and can be very lucrative throughout your employment.

 
 
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

If you wish to apply for this position, you will require the following to qualify as a consultant with this institution, and as per the licensing authorities:

·1 year Consultant experience in a Western hospital

·1 year post specialist qualification experience from the following countries:

UK – CCT

USA – American Board

Canada – Canadian Fellowship

Ireland – CSD/CSCST

Australia & New Zealand (Fellowship)

France – DES/DESC

Other European countries according to the qualification equivalence tables of the licensing authorities.

Incentives:                    20% monthly incentive of income generated for the clinic

Bonuses:                       Annual appraisal with salary increases and bonuses
                                   Overtime:                     Overtime payment included

Contract Duration:        Open ended or 2 years renewable

Contract Status:            Family – but it is recommended to travel alone initially

Accommodation:           First month free in a 4* hotel

Flights:                         Economy for the employee at start/end of contract

Leave:                          43 days a year – (30 days holiday & 13 public holidays)

Study Leave:                 7 days per year

Medical Cover:              Provided

Malpractice Insurance:  Provided

Life insurance:              Provided

Hours of Work:             48 hours per week, 6 days per week (straight or split)
On call:                        As required – Extra payment for on call duties
