<p>Mediclinic Parkview Hospital are currently looking for a Consultant Intensivist to join their state of the art closed collaborative ICU. </p><p><br></p><p>Licensing and Education: </p><ul><li>Essential: Basic medical degree and completion of a specialty qualification/education programme (fellowship/diploma) recognised by the relevant UAE healthcare authority</li><li>Certification and registration in a speciality recognised by relevant UAE healthcare authority</li><li>Active and valid life support certification (e.g. BLS, ACLS, PALS, ATLS, NRP)</li></ul><p><br></p><p>Specialised Skills/Abilities/Experience: </p><ul><li>Appropriate experience and competence in all aspects of Critical Care</li><li>Minimum of three years of experience in Critical Care Medicine since gaining specialisation </li><li>Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, nurses, doctors and other hospital staff </li><li>Demonstrated commitment to continuing medical education </li><li>Demonstrated ability to deliver quality patient care </li><li>Demonstrated ability to work in a multidisciplinary team </li><li>Demonstrated commitment to quality improvement for better health outcomes </li><li>High level of verbal and written communication skills </li><li>High level of interpersonal and organizational skills </li><li>Good computer literacy</li></ul><p><br></p><p>Key Outputs of the Role:</p><ul><li>Responsible for providing comprehensive consultant level patient care in Critical Care</li><li>Participates equitably in the on-call roster </li><li>Participates in the oversight and professional development of assigned junior medical staff </li><li>Conducts Clinical Audits in line with Medical Advisory Committee requirements </li><li>Participates in review and planning activities relevant to the development of the Critical Care Service and the Hospital </li><li>Participates in activities and opportunities to promote the Critical Care Service and the Hospital to the general public and wider medical community of Dubai and the UAE </li><li>Fulfils professional requirements for continuing maintenance of competence in all aspects of Critcal Care</li><li>Carries out other assigned duties within the appropriate scope of knowledge, skills and abilities of the position</li></ul><p><br></p><p>If you are looking for an opportunity to work within one of the most prized and established institutions in the region who are renowned for their high-level provision of medical services as well as their excellent working dynamic and culture among physicians, we would love to hear from you!</p>
