<p>Control Risks, a leading specialist risk consultancy, is seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to join their team as a Consultant in Crisis and Risk Consulting for the Middle East region. You can expect direct responsibility from the beginning of your role, as well as career development opportunities that will take your skills to the next level. <br><br></p><p><br><br><br></p> <strong>Responsibilities<br><br></strong><ul> <li>Identify, assess and implement risk mitigation strategies for clients in complex environments</li> <li>Develop and implement emergency response, crisis management and business continuity management programmes </li> <li>Plan and deliver training and exercises</li> <li>Manage projects and budgets effectively and efficiently</li> <li>Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders</li> <li>Participate in and contribute to business development activities, such as thought leadership and conferences</li> <li>Stay up-to-date with the latest security and resilience industry trends and innovations</li> <br><br></ul><strong>Requirements<br><br></strong><ul> <li>At least 4 years of experience in crisis management, business continuity management and risk consulting</li> <li>Fluent in English</li> <li>Arabic language skills preferred, but not essential</li> <li>Strong knowledge and experience of Middle East politics and culture</li> <li>Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills</li> <li>Ability to work in high-pressure situations and manage multiple projects</li> <li>Strong written and verbal communication skills</li> <li>Ability to work independently and as part of a team.</li> <li>Adaptable and flexible mindset</li> <li>Educated to degree level in a relevant topic, such as risk management, security, disaster management, crisis management, resilience.</li> <li>Certifications such as IRM, CBCP and related qualifications desirable.</li> <li>Willingness and ability to travel around the region.</li> <br><br></ul><strong>Benefits<br><br></strong><p>The diverse nature and backgrounds of our team, our culture of inclusiveness and our work ethics are what makes us unique.
