They are what we believe, what customers can expect, and how we deliver.<p><br></p><strong><u>Project Description</u></strong><p><br></p>Saudi Arabian Bechtel Company is providing Project Management Consultancy services (including technical, commercial, and construction management) for the development of certain defined aspects of the NEOM Infrastructure in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.” NEOM is a planned cross-border city in the Tabuk Province of northwestern Saudi Arabia. The site is near the Red Sea and the borders of Egypt, Israel, and Jordan. It will cover a total area of 26,500 km2 (10,200 sq mi) and will extend 460 km along the coast of the Red Sea.”NEOM will be the home and workplace to more than a million residents from around the world. It will include towns and cities, ports and enterprise zones, research centers, sports and entertainment venues, and tourist destinations. As a hub for innovation, entrepreneurs, business leaders, and companies will come to research, incubate, and commercialize new technologies and enterprises in groundbreaking ways<p><br></p><strong><u>Job Responsibilities</u></strong><p><br></p><ul><li> The Construction Supervisor provides day to day oversight and direction to the Construction Engineers and Construction field personnel assigned to on-site construction projects. </li><li> He or she is responsible for protecting and promoting the interests and values of the company in all matters and to take actions as required to satisfy responsibilities. </li><li> Strong and acted to delivering on safety on site operations and to all aspects of high quality on the scope of works. </li><li> The Construction Supervisor brings specialized knowledge and experience in executing Civils projects for his or her area: is responsible for coordination and interfaces between Contractors, disciplines managing performance of the works to meet schedules and milestones. </li><li> Needs to be able to motivate the workforce and steer the team towards a culture of collaborative teamwork. </li><li> Ensure safety and quality training programs are implemented and drive a culture of high standards </li><li> Prepare for project startup with the Contractor and Project Manager. </li><li> Execute project activities as required to meet day-to-day and overall objectives. </li><li> Understand and apply the requirements in project documents about quality control procedures such as essaying, shop drawings, material approvals, samples, mock-ups, execution of the earthworks, etc. </li><li> Become familiar with each job technical specification and follow the direction about performing work within the boundaries of the contract </li><li> Keep the Construction Manager apprised of any change in contractor’s activity or cost prior to incurring additional time or materials outside of the project scope. </li><li> Provide input on scheduling and placement of production methodology. </li><li> Plan and review the construction project and contractors’ submittals with the Project Manager on a weekly basis. </li><li> Supervise the site works on site </li><li> Review the contractor’s method statement, risk assessment etc. and the preparation of weekly progress report, keep them properly updated, and ensure that everything feasible is done for the project to meet the required dates. </li><li> Support the Construction Manager to ensure timely on-site delivery of materials and equipment furnished by the Contractor. </li><li> Direct field staff to ensure their continued development by use of performance evaluations, varying assignments, and promoting positive project morale. </li></ul><p><br></p><strong><u> Job Knowledge And Requirements</u></strong><p><br></p><ul><li> Minimum 10 years’ experience A recognized degree in an engineering or scientific discipline, and/or specialized courses in construction management, or minimum 8 years experience in construction in lieu of a degree </li><li> Demonstrable Site Management experience Experience in working with Mountainous and Desert terrain </li><li> Experience of working and living in remote camp locations </li><li> Able to demonstrate knowledge and experience of process improvement processes such as Six Sigma program tools and methodologies </li><li> Ideally familiar with working knowledge of Bechtel safety and security philosophies and process on the construction site </li></ul><p><br></p><strong>Shaping tomorrow together</strong><p><br></p><strong>Bechtel is one of the most respected global engineering, construction, and project management companies.
