Construction Site Manager – Erbil

We have an exciting opportunity for a Site Manager to join our major construction project at Erbil International Airport.

The Site Manager is responsible for maximizing project margin and cost management. You will work to get the best value from suppliers and subcontractors, review project costs and forecast final outcomes, and measure subcontractor delivered works against the program to report accurate monthly and milestone payments.

What We Need

We are looking for technical experience from the Building and Construction industry along with an excellent working knowledge of contract management, schedule of rates and project accounting. Experience of working on large scale, multi-disciplinary construction projects is essential.

You will be a confident communicator with first-rate client facing skills.

You will have a good understanding of construction law and contract management and be commercially aware with strong negotiating and presentation skills.

It would be great to see
– Experience of working on operations in austere remote sites or in developing nations.
– Knowledge of airfield operations and services.
– An understanding of MOD, NATO, and ISO terminology.
