Job Description
The Construction Coordinator Engineer will hold a commensurate amount of responsibility to coordinate the readiness of a mixed portfolio of small to medium sized construction projects, for construction campaigns.<p><br></p>To drive an accident free environment, maintaining a strong safety culture; compliance with HSE rules.<p><br></p>To be the Leader of a multi-discipline offshore team as needed for the construction activities.<p><br></p>To deliver integrated offshore items with Mechanical and Pre-commissioning fully completed to the Commissioning team.<p><br></p><strong>Your Tasks</strong><p><br></p><strong>HSE:</strong><p><br></p><ul><li>To ensure compliance with HSE (occupational and process) legislation, Company standards and procedures as they apply to project management and project engineering, to ensure employee safety and legislative compliance;</li><li>To ensure compliance with Company Management System and applicable International Standards;</li><li>To insure the good level of competency for COMPANY Supervision Team offshore.</li></ul><p><br></p><strong>Scope and development:</strong><p><br></p><ul><li>To develop tools as required to coordinate the offshore construction activities, from preparation stage up to completion offshore;</li><li>To organize readiness reviews with the Construction Department of E&C, to ensure the projects are sufficiently prepared and matured to go for site execution;</li><li>To deliver a consistent dossier (documents, materials, procured and fabricated items, precom/com dossiers…) to the Construction Supervision Team for the offshore construction activities;</li><li>To mobilize the COMPANY Supervision Team as required for the offshore construction and pre-commissioning activities offshore;</li><li>To mobilize the resources, equipment and tools as required for the offshore construction and pre-commissioning activities offshore;</li><li>To organize the bedding (on platform, accommodation vessel) as required for the offshore construction and pre-commissioning activities offshore in liaison with Planning and IOP Teams.</li></ul><p><br></p><strong>Project Management:</strong><p><br></p><ul><li>To contribute to the Project Execution strategy and Project Execution Plan related to the offshore construction activities;</li><li>To follow-up the KPI’s for the team and for the reporting to the Construction Lead; propose any other KPY’s;</li><li>To submit a weekly report to his hierarchical superior;</li><li>To track Engineering and procurement deliveries, related to Construction activities, in close relation with the Construction Engineers;</li><li>To interface with FO (onshore and offshore) in advance to the mobilization of E&C Construction Team, to anticipate the needs to fill FO’s expectations as required (i;e;: JSA’s; PTW);</li><li>To coordinate with FO (onshore and offshore) all along the progression of the works offshore;</li><li>To follow-up and report the progress of the works offshore, with analysis of the performances, on daily basis;</li><li>To do Management of Change in scope, organization, schedule, if required and assessment of resulting cost and schedule impact, related to Construction activities;</li><li>To deliver the close out dossier at the end of the project, as well as to participate to REX and Lessons learned for the Company.</li></ul><p><br></p><strong>Schedule Development:</strong><p><br></p><ul><li>To organize the offshore works in accordance with prioritization agreed with the Construction Lead, based on emergency, safety, production and future development critical needs. Cost Estimation and Budget Management:</li><li>To provide feedback for cost realization of the projects. Risk Management:</li><li>To perform risk analysis as required for the good performance of the works;</li><li>To participate to HAZID’s; Risk Assessments and JSA’s when required.</li></ul><p><br></p><strong>Assurance and Governance:</strong><p><br></p><ul><li>To co-ordinate with QA leader for all quality matters, including as well the management of quality audits as needed for a continuous control of Contractors/Subcontractors;</li><li>To provide the red mark-ups from Contractors/Subcontractors inputs from Offshore Construction Team, to the Construction Leader, for as-built dossiers.</li></ul><p><br></p><strong>Stakeholder Management:</strong><p><br></p><ul><li>To interface with other departments in E&C, FO as needed for the good performance of the works;</li><li>To organize the Coordination Meetings (weekly) with Construction Engineers, as required;</li><li>To prepare and facilitate relevant progress reports and distribute to key stakeholders;</li><li>To permanently assist the offshore construction team.</li></ul><p><br></p><strong>Procurement Management:</strong><p><br></p><ul><li>To liaise with C&P for necessary contracts/PO’s related to offshore construction activities. Resource Management:</li><li>To ensure that the resources and organization from Contractor are adequate with regards to the workload;</li><li>To review Contractor’s progress reports related to onshore mobilization (materials, equipment/tools, personnel) as well as offshore, highlighting critical problems, drifts and dysfunctions if any.</li></ul><p><br></p><strong>Mentoring:</strong><p><br></p><ul><li>Mentor, guide and act as role model for the Construction Department. Other:</li><li>To proactively take responsibility for self-progression by proposing improvement of the tools, organization, as required for the good performance of the Construction Department;</li><li>To carry out any other duties or tasks that may be assigned by his hierarchical superiors.</li></ul><p><br></p><strong>Your Profile</strong><p><br></p><ul><li>Management methods;</li><li>Technical background with a minimum of 15-20 years’ experience in construction of O&G installations;</li><li>Experience in offshore construction activities under SIMOPS conditions;</li><li>Extensive knowledge of industry best practice in Project Management;</li><li>Fluent in English.</li></ul><p><br></p><strong>Our Offer</strong><p><br></p><strong>Salary:</strong><p><br></p>Day Rate in USD Plus Allowance<p><br></p><strong>Work Schedule:</strong><p><br></p>9 Hours / 6 Days<p><br></p><strong>Duration:</strong><p><br></p>December 2024 with possible extension<p><br></p><strong>Location:</strong><p><br></p>Qatar
