<strong>Job Title: </strong>Compliance Officer<p><br></p><strong>Location:</strong> Abu Dhabi<p><br></p><strong>Experience: </strong><strong>3-5 years</strong><p><br></p><strong>Language</strong> : Excellent in English<p><br></p><strong>Industry : </strong><strong>Non-Banking Industry </strong><p><br></p><strong><u>Job Responsibilities</u></strong><p><br></p><ul><li>Develop and oversee control systems to prevent or deal with violations of legal guidelines and internal policies</li><li>Define all stakeholders & functional compliance requirements, plan and ensure execution by the relevant departments / functions</li><li>Evaluate the efficiency of controls and improve them continuously</li><li>Revise procedures, reports etc. periodically to identify hidden risks or non-conformity issues</li><li>Draft, modify and implement company policies</li><li>Collaborate with corporate counsels and HR departments to monitor enforcement of standards and regulations</li><li>Assess the business’s future ventures to identify possible compliance risks</li><li>Review the work of colleagues when necessary to identify compliance issues and provide advice or training</li><li>Keep abreast of regulatory developments within or outside of the company as well as evolving best practices in compliance control</li><li>Prepare reports for senior management and external regulatory bodies as appropriate</li><li>Monitors all operational processes and procedures using a compliance management platform to ensure that the company complies with all legal regulations and ethical standards.</li><li>Manages information flow by researching, recording and analysing data and information. </li><li>Conduct compliance risk assessments, to ensure business runs smoothly.</li><li>Trains and educates staff so that they are informed of any legal changes and updates to compliance guidelines.</li><li>Acts as contact person and liaison between department heads and senior management regarding regulatory matters.</li><li>Conducts regular assessments to determine whether policies are compliant with the regulations and law.</li></ul>
