Job Description

<p>We are looking for a Compliance Officer to join our corporate service department in Dubai.&nbsp;This will be a standalone role,&nbsp;where in you will be&nbsp;affecting change and owning the strategy for compliance, risk, and ethics.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>You will be responsible to:</strong></p><p><br></p><p>Develop, initiate, maintain, and revise policies and procedures for the general operation of the Compliance Program and its related activities to prevent illegal, unethical, or improper conduct. Manages daily operation of the Program.</p><p><br></p><p>Analyze&nbsp;the customers data by performing the negative news search from the search engines and all the available data sources like Worldcheck,&nbsp;GO-AML,&nbsp;Google and blacklist search to avoid risk to the&nbsp;company</p><p><br></p><p>KYC – Client Due Diligence for&nbsp;onboarding&nbsp;new clients and rectification of existing clients as per the guidelines.</p><p><br></p><p>Respond to alleged violations of rules, regulations, policies, procedures, and Standards of Conduct by evaluating or recommending the initiation of investigative procedures. Develop&nbsp;and oversees a system for uniform handling of such violations.</p><p><br></p><p>Identifie potential areas of compliance vulnerability and risk; develop/implement corrective action plans for resolution of problematic issues, and provides general guidance on how to avoid or deal with similar situations in the future.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Ideal candidate will:</strong></p><ul><li>Hold a bachelor’s degree, preferably with a professional compliance qualification</li><li>ACAMS certification preferable </li><li>Have minimum 4 years of experience working in Compliance across various regions&nbsp;</li><li>AML/ KYC certified with word-check knowledge preferred</li><li>Possess excellent accuracy and attention to detail</li></ul>
