<p><span>Lead the compliance function of an insurance and financial services intermediatory with offices in multiple jurisdictions. </span></p><p><br></p><ul><li><span>Advising the board of directors, management, and business on compliance, risk and regulatory matters. </span></li><li><span>Advising other functions withing the company to ensure complete understanding of compliance with all relevant regulators, company policies, procedures, and guidelines. </span></li><li><span>conduct compliance, risk, and AML training for all employees at the time of joining as well as on periodic basis.</span></li><li><span>Ensuring all front-end sales and operations staff perform duties in accordance with policies, procedures, and guidelines set by the relevant authorities. Train and address the gaps if any.</span></li><li><span>Implement and spearhead all internal and external audits, adhere to regular internal and external reporting.</span></li><li><span>Identify business and audit risk and address those with relevant stakeholders. </span></li><li><span>Ensure all organization files and documents for each license and facilities are in line with the requirements. </span></li><li><span>Support other departments like IT, finance, HR etc with complying with the SOP’s, regulatory and audit guidelines.</span></li><li><span>Vetting of new business as per the relevant compliance guidelines. </span></li><li><span>Proactively approach risk mitigation by identifying and addressing potential compliance and AML issues.</span></li></ul><p><br></p><p><span>Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Business, Finance, Law, or a related discipline), Master’s degree is preferred. Atleast 12 plus years of experience in compliance, AML, and risk management, with a deep understanding of Insurance Authority, Securities and Commodities Authority and DIFC regulations. </span></p><p><span>Strong knowledge of ompliance frameworks, policies, and procedures, particularly in the financial services industry.</span></p>
