<p><em>Heidelberg Materials Trading is the international trading arm of the Heidelberg Materials Group, handling overseas dry-bulk products exports and imports. We are looking for a </em><strong><em>Compensation and Benefits Officer</em></strong><em> to be based in Dubai:</em></p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p><strong>Requirements:</strong></p><p><br></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in HR or equivalent</li><li>3-5 years of experience within HR/C&amp;B</li><li>Experience with designing C&amp;B structure</li><li>Experience working with Hay/Mercer data</li><li>Strong attention to detail to identify issues and ensure accuracy across multiple systems and documents</li><li>Excellent research and analysis skills</li><li>Ability to take initiative, meet deadlines, manage multiple priorities, and remain flexible in an evolving environment with a positive attitude</li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and HRIS (Workday a plus)</li><li>Proficient with compensation research and data analysis and external market data analysis</li><li>Fluency in written and spoken English</li></ul><p><br></p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p><p><br></p><ul><li>Provide support in the analysis, development, design, communication, and implementation of global benefits, including benefits structure, cost analysis, and renewals</li><li>Liaise with third party vendors and industry related partners to provide relevant regional benchmarking and strategic proposals for policies</li><li>Prepare data for benefits and salary surveys to support the ongoing improvement of organization total rewards programs and objectives</li><li>Support the process of salary proposals for new hires and promotions; manage onboarding and exit payments</li><li>Maintain firm knowledge of local labor laws and regulations; Closely follow compliance and legislative changes related to compensation and benefits</li><li>Research and evaluate benefit programs and policies and stay up to date on trends and best practice initiatives</li><li>Update documentation of Compensation and Benefits policies and practices</li><li>Assist annual merit review process with data analytics and data quality checks</li><li>Support in the budget planning process</li><li>Other projects that may be assigned from time to time</li></ul><p><br></p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p>We thank all applicants for their interest but only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.</p><p>All applications will be kept strictly confidential.</p>
