Summary

Responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing networks, mobile devices, telephones, Nurse Call System end points, radios and pagers across KSFH&RC.  In doing so, this job minimizes the timespans of service interruptions, increases KSFH&RC productivity, and creates a more satisfied user community in the long run.

Essential Responsibilities and Duties

1.Installs, repairs, and maintains networks, mobile devices, telephones, Nurse Call System end points, radios and pagers to meet end-user needs.

2.Uses schematic drawings, verbal instructions, or manufacturer’s instructions and manuals to diagnose problems with equipment and make repairs.

3.Provides desktop implementation, schedule coordination, move, add, change and disposal services when requested.

4.Provides Level 2 network field support for devices and communication devices.

5.Apply patches to configuration items as deemed necessary by the different infrastructure teams and the Information Security and Disaster Recovery Department.

6.Provides onsite technical support during corporate events.

7.Administers and implement standard and minor changes as indicated in the change classification matrix.

8.Follows prescribed system safety and security procedures of computing environment.

9.Participates in self & others’ education, training and development, as applicable.

10.Follows all hospital related policies and procedures.

11.Performs other related duties as assigned.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Computer Science or related discipline is required.

Experience Required

One (1) year of related experience with Bachelor’s Degree, or three (3) years of related experience with Diploma is required.
