The Commissioning &amp; Field Service Engineer is a key member of the Engineering team and will be responsible for providing support for the installation, commissioning, and operations of the plant across the Middle East on a six month contract.<p><br></p><strong>Roles and responsibilities:</strong><p><br></p><ul><li>Support start-up and operation of plants at customer site</li><li>Assisting the Operations Team in Installation supervision, cold commissioning, software testing and validation, safety system testing / calibration and verification, hot commissioning, process commissioning and performance testing</li><li>Liaison with host site regarding, site preparation, utilities and tie-ins</li><li>Identifying operational problems by observing and studying system functioning and performance results; investigating complaints and suggestions; completing troubleshooting procedures</li><li>Maintains safe and healthy work environment by following and enforcing standards and procedures complying with all Safety regulations</li><li>Hands on contributions while ensuring that all work is completed on schedule</li><li>Expert support for field engineering, commissioning, and operations to our partners who provide these services</li><li>Contributing to the development and upkeep of commissioning and operations related knowledge base, fully incorporating lessons learned and best practice</li><li>Input to development of standard, documentation, guidelines and procedures for the start-up, operations, and maintenance of Carbon Clean’s plant designs</li><li>Champion for safety in design and operations and contributor to safety reviews in design and operation </li><li>Input to develop of installation and commissioning schedules </li><li>Actively participating in development of Carbon Clean’s technology through imparting technical and practical knowledge from commissioning and operation of its plants</li></ul><p><br></p><strong>Requirements</strong><p><br></p><strong>Experience &amp; skills sought:</strong><p><br></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering</li><li>Hands-on experience with start-ups and troubleshooting of Chemical, Oil &amp; Gas, Fertilizer etc. plants</li><li>Installation, commissioning, operations, and maintenance experience </li><li>Site management of subcontractors</li><li>Good knowledge of Process control, Electrical systems, and Instrumentation</li><li>High technical fluency with ability to communicate effectively both verbally and written</li><li>Comfort in working directly with operations, engineering, and project management functions at both owner-operators and engineering companies</li></ul>
