Job Overview:

Reports to the Principal Commissioning Engineer and is responsible for the development of discipline specific procedures and method statements, support in database preparation, participation in design workshops, input to the development of the EPC Schedule.

Responsibilities

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Reviews drawings for suitability and identifies any specific issues and coordinates resolution.
  • Reviews & formulize discipline scope of work pertaining to commissioning, schedules, and specifications.
  • Understands the requirements and deliverable requirements.
  • Awareness on planning and milestone activities and Involvement in facility handover requirements
  • Develop and issue pre-commissioning and commissioning procedures and method statements.
  • Provide inputs to CMS (commissioning management system) to develop and outline the scope.
  • Ensures all engineering deliverables (drawings, materials, and procedures) are available for pre-commissioning and
  • commissioning.
  • Identify and prepare pre-commissioning and commissioning spares list, support in procuring the same.
  • Interface with construction team to align the commissioning requirements.
  • Enable resource forecast & manpower loadings.
  • Manage the timely delivery of documentation, pre-commissioning & commissioning materials, personnel and vendors aligned to execution schedule.
  • Provides field guidance and ensures compliance with Company specification.
  • Attends Coordination & progress review Meeting and reports pre-commissioning and commissioning progress on daily basis.
  • Participate with HAZID discussion and asset incidents / hazards investigations and communicate findings to PMT and Team.
  • Work collaboratively within the Project team and with Client to maintain positive relationships.
  • Provides input for the development of a Commissioning Schedule and the integration into the overall EPC Schedule.

Qualifications

Essential Qualifications and Education:

  • 6+ years’ experience in related offshore engineering fields.
  • Exhibit leadership skills within own discipline & provide assistance to trainee engineers/freshers.
  • Demonstrate willingness to handle variety of tasks to support business needs
  • Familiarity with Offshore Codes & Standards
  • Follows company safety plans and procedures.
