Commercial Planning Manager
What this position is about – Purpose:
The incumbent will be responsible to lead and manage the commercial planning department, working on several projects and tasks simultaneously. Providing a full overview of all operations via daily reporting systems, which is mainly dedicated to supporting the field force operations and execution. Solid communication skills are required to ensure full alignment with cross-functional stakeholders.
What will you do – Responsibilities:
- Ongoing management, support, and leading cross-functional projects between M&S. Ensuring a transparent communication line with supporting functions, in order to secure sustainable harmony between all departments.
- Coordinate Different Activates Across Different Channels Develop, communicate and track monthly activities and internal/external promotions to all sales channels. Ensuring a full-fledged operation by securing both pull and push activities to our trade partners.
- Build, develop & monitor the internal Route to Market “RTM” strategy, ensuring full reach with a smooth frequency and border aspect. Ongoing analysis of each route, to fully capture all opportunities and maintain the commercial strategy and objectives.
- Develop, track and assess the performance of internal programs ensuring a positive ROI. Support by creating an M&S activation toolkit to be deployed according to each brand’s guidelines & requirements, consumer segmentations & customer classifications.
- Ongoing development of internal field force KPIs, to ensure a positive impact and accordingly increase in performance. Ensuring full clarity and transparent communication with the FF to drive their knowledge in line with the company goals and objectives.
- Ensuring full ownership of internal system and software management. (TME Lite, Power BI, 121 App & Sales reports).Ongoing enhancement and troubleshooting for all software, solid communication with the IT department to ensure full support. Accurate, easy & timely sales reports (Daily, Weekly & Monthly).
- Full tracking and management of allocated Sales budget across all internal activities, ensuring full allocation and deployment across all projects and channels. Solid monthly control with history backup with a minimum of 2 years for audit and compliance purposes.
- Ongoing people development through on-the-job training, 1-2-1 coaching and mentoring sessions, weekly team meetings, monthly team reviews & regular feedback.
Whom are we looking for – Requirements:
- 5+ Years of sales team management in the FMCG industry.
- Good knowledge of Route to Market “RTM” strategy and commercial strategy and objectives.
- Advanced analytical skills.
- Competencies: Problem solver, Team mentality, leading by example, Project management, excellent communication skills.
- Arabic – Mother’s tongue
- English – Good Spoken & Written
- Proficiency in MS Office
