You will experience these qualities of passion, pride and aspiration in many ways — from a rich set of career development programs to support of community service projects to social events that foster fun and relationship building across our global community.<p><br></p><strong>The Role</strong><p><br></p>The Commercial Office Director role helps the Sr. Director Commercial Office, Regional Sales VP and Solution Consulting Leader to manage and execute the license business, with the goals of maximizing the growth and quality of AspenTech’s business in the region.<p><br></p>The objective of the position is to work with the regional sales management and operations to better plan the license business plan, adopt best practices in driving growth in a consistent manner, and assist the business in executing high-quality deals.<p><br></p><strong>Your Impact</strong><p><br></p><ul><li>Formulate regional strategy and ensure that the commercial transactions align with the corporate and regional strategies. </li><li>Coordinate strategic alignment with other Regional Commercial Office Managers</li><li>Review financial performance and actively support the Field Sales team to manage and grow the license business to meet bookings and growth targets.</li><li>Support acquisitions, mergers, and divestments in the integration of our corporate commercial models.</li><li>Report business plan and budget for the regional headquarters</li><li>Provide operational and financial reporting including visibility and analyses of key business metrics, information and insight into the business including detailed analysis around the renewal business through commercial transaction review and governance.</li><li>Providing commercial transaction advice and governance, including the early identification and escalation of potential issues related to commercial transaction governance, direct understanding of all deals in the pipeline including compelling reasons to close.</li><li>Provide training to sales team on the creation and use of deal models and price calculators.</li><li>Providing feedback to corporate sales operations on issues related to the deal model, pricing calculator and overall approval process.</li></ul><p><br></p>What You’ll Need<p><br></p><ul><li>Excellent problem solving and analysis skills including experience in solving commercial, operational, and financial complexities in partnership with cross functional teams.</li><li>Chemical or Petroleum Industry/domain experience preferred.</li><li>Advanced Excel capabilities.</li><li>Exceptional analytical and communication skills.</li><li>Understanding of the solution selling process.</li><li>Bachelor’s degree required. Financial degree of an MBA or equivalent a plus.</li><li>Must be located in Saudi Arabia.</li></ul>
