<strong>Role Summary</strong><p><br></p>The Commercial Lead will work with the Commercial Manager to that ensure Neom Ports are positioned with a unique market position by fully understanding the local market (supply/demand & utilization).<p><br></p>With ownership of local & global customers as well as an overview of accessible hinterland markets. Assessing current and future needed capabilities vs regional ports, understanding of switching costs between feedering and direct calls, market rate levels, and the service provided by NEOM compared with other regional ports. The market position in each sector should be tailored for each commercial segment.<p><br></p>The commercial lead will be an integral plan of the Commercial team and forge relationships with the portβs customers and be a part of the general ownership of products and services.<p><br></p><strong>Key Accountabilities And Responsibilities</strong><p><br></p><ul><li>The Commercial Lead is part of executing the commercial strategy.</li><li>Establish relationships with key accounts.</li><li>Work on establishing standards and guidelines for Sales, including pricing & products.</li><li>Provide input for decision making and overall terminal strategy.</li><li>Work on marketing plans to establish the commercial objectives.</li><li>Work on establishing NEOM positive market position and increasing customer loyalty.</li><li>Work on establishing the ideal Customer Journey β should be quantifiable and actionable.</li><li>Implement processes and technology as a part of improving our customer journey ambitions. With an end-goal of achieving world-class smart digital port status.</li><li>Coordinate customer issues within the organization and maintain a single-point customer contact.</li></ul><p><br></p><strong>Education & Experience</strong><p><br></p><ul><li>Degree in Business, Finance or Engineering</li><li>We expect that you have a degree in logistics, engineering, finance, economics, business or similar and that you have a strong commercial and technical mindset. You have demonstrated your abilities to understand commercial and technical dynamics in projects of high complexity in your previous experience.</li></ul>
