About the Role

We are looking for a candidate with proven experience managing sales and relationships with food businesses (Supermarkets, restaurants, hotels, food processing companies). We employ entrepreneurial-minded, highly passionate fruit experts who provide high end customer service, and understand the industry and the demand that comes with it.

What You’ll Do:

  • Find potential business clients and convert them into actual customers then follow up to reach a wider client base.
  • Identify new business opportunities by tapping the potential customers from different segments.
  • Manage relationships with business partners and ensure operational excellence.
  • Identifies potential markets for farm products to create a new market opportunity.
  • Work with the purchasing and quality assurance team in order to ensure sales demands are met.
  • Collaborating with other departments to ensure effective implementation of commercial strategies.
  • Ensuring compliance with sales policies and procedures.
  • Providing regular reports on customer accounts and sales performance.
  • Ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Developing and implementing sales strategies and tactics that align with the overall business objectives.

Best Candidates’ Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, agriculture engineering or a related field.
  • 5+ years of sales experience, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Experience managing complex sales cycles and negotiations.
  • Proven experience handling and managing key accounts of businesses (Supermarkets and more).
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic account plans.
  • Strong communication, relationship-building, and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with CRM software and sales automation tools
  • Experience in the food or agricultural industry or FMCG a plus
