Cold Shear and Bundling Machine Operator

Job Description

We are looking for a talented and skilled Cold Shear and Bundling Machine Operator to join our multicultural and diverse team in Kuwait. Responsible for the Operation of Cold Shear and Binding Machine

Duties may include but will not be limited to:

• Ensures compliance to ISO 9001 and 14001 requirements.
• Complies with company rules and regulation.
• Complies with Cold Shear and Bundling Machine Operation Manual to ensure efficient and safe operation.
• Responsible for operating the control panels of the cooling bed and bundling machine.
• Responsible for the replacement of bar counter screw counter and disc counter as per size rolled.
• Responsible for the safekeeping of replaceable parts of the bar counter and the tools used for the replacement.
• Coordinates with main pulpit operator regarding cut length and other operational concerns.
• Coordinates with relevant department for any concern that may lead to mill stoppages.
• Ensures the integrity of the bundling of bars and bar count per bundle.
• Ensures the integrity of bundle count.
• Coordinates with Dispatch Department for the segregation of prime and held bundles.
• Assists in the size and / or section change activities delegated by the Production Supervisor.
• Performs housekeeping activities.
• Performs other duties appointed by the Production Supervisor
