Job Description

<p>We are looking for Psychologist with HAAD / DOH license for our Hospital in Al Ain – Abu Dhabi Responsibilities</p><p>• Assessing and diagnosing children’s abilities or behavior by conducting a clinical assessment, interviews, liaison with families or cares and applying psychometric tests.</p><p>• Providing appropriate therapy based on the individual needs of the children.</p><p>• Leading group therapy for children of different age groups and levels of functioning.</p><p>• Working as part of a multidisciplinary team alongside, Psychiatrists, Speech therapist, Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, etc.</p><p>• Working with Schools to provide recommendations, advice to parents and school administrators regarding the children’s needs based on the outcome of the assessments.</p><p>• Providing consultation to other professions</p><p>• Supervising support staff assisting in psychological assessment and intervention.</p><p>• Participate in research activities.</p><p>• Using psychotherapy to improve the quality of life for individuals, groups, and families.</p><p>• Testing and assessing patients for indications of mental health disorders.</p><p>• Developing treatment plans and strategies to help patients.</p><p>• Supporting patients who have experienced traumatic life events.</p><p>• Providing ongoing care and evaluation to patients with long-term difficulties.</p><p>• Referring patients to other specialists or doctors as needed.</p><p>• Helping patients to set realistic goals and monitoring their progress.</p><p>• Keeping up to date with, and potentially participating in, new research in psychology.</p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p>Requirements</p><ul><li>Master degree in Clinical Psychology from recognize University. </li><li> At least 3 year of clinical experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified in hospital set up. </li><li>Active DOH / DHA License</li><li>Ready to relocate to AL Ain City.</li></ul>
