Our solutions are redefining the industry’s long-standing benchmarks and accepted norms, and your code could be part of this revolution.</em></p><p><br></p><p><strong>Summary:</strong></p><p><br></p><p><strong>The role of the Front-End Engineer consists of writing the Front-End code with the support of a Full-Stack Engineer (Tech Lead) or other Front-End Engineers (pair programming) and implementing the UX/UI team design and specifications. They also work closely with Back-End Engineers to ensure optimal data flow and compliance with the highest security standards, as well as supporting deployment matters and QA teams.</strong></p><p><br></p><p><strong>The Engineer understands the product requirements, write very good technical specifications, follows Agile Methodology for Software Development, writes great unit, functional tests, communicates the deployment needs very clearly to the DevOps team and should be able to quickly locate production errors, troubleshoot, fix those errors, and make sure our customers are happy by complying to 99.9% SLAs.</strong></p><p><br></p><p><strong>Position responsibilities:</strong></p><p><br></p><ul><li>Work as part of global team comprising of developers, testers, and DevOps engineers.</li><li>Design, develop and test our flagship cloud-based Legal Managed Review product named ReefReview (https://www.transperfectlegal.com/technology/digital-reef) – the ultimate solution for document hosting, review, and analysis.</li><li>Ability to work in bleeding edge technology stack that we use do build “ReefReview” like Angular 15, Telerik Kendo 2023, Ngrx, MFEs (Micro Frontends) using Nx and many other exciting technologies.</li><li>Be able to understand the requirements given as product backlog, split the tasks to add into sprint backlog with approximately accurate estimates.</li><li>Be able to write technical specifications, address the feedback provided by architects and managers and implement the feature matching the technical specifications.</li><li>Be able to work with test developers to review their test cases and making sure they understood the technical specifications and their test cases cover the feature end to end.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Required Skills</strong></p><p><br></p><ul><li>Minimum Bachelor´s degree or equivalent studies, ideally in the field of Computer Technology</li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English</li><li>Expertise in coding efficient, object-oriented and modularized software</li><li>Good knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, Angular, Azure DevOps, Git, Build scripts and tools</li><li>Ability and willingness to learn new cutting-edge software technologies and work productively to meet aggressive deadlines</li><li>Ability to manage expectations with all stakeholders in estimations for completion of tasks/bugs and drive to deliver within indicated timeframes</li><li>Ability to work independently as well as in a team</li><li>Ability and willingness to participate in Daily SCRUM, Sprint Planning, Sprint Review and other technical/architectural meetings</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Required Experience</strong></p><p><br></p><ul><li>5+ years of experience as a FrontEnd Developer with the ability to read the product backlog document, understand the UX mockup and implement the frontend that exactly matches the product backlog and UX mockup by wiring the UI to the backend API</li><li>5+ years of experience working in SCRUM Agile Methodology environments</li><li>Extensive experience in JavaScript, TypeScript and libraries such as Angular, Bootstrap, Node.js, jQuery and Telerik Kendo</li><li>Experience writing technical specification documents to be approved by the ScrumMaster before implementation</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Desired Skills and Experience</strong></p><p><br></p><ul><li>Experience with any other modern UI framework like Vue or React, desktop wrapper framework like ElectronJS and containerization technologies like Docker, Docker-Composer, Kubernetes, etc.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><em>TransPerfect provides equal employment opportunities to all individuals regardless of their race, color, creed, religion, gender, age, sexual orientation, national origin, disability, veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by local law.</em></p><p><br></p><p><em>We celebrate diversity as one of our core values and we have a clear goal: to be an inclusive workplace where a diverse mix of talented people want to come, stay and do their best work.
