Clearing Operations Specialist (Exchange Industry Background)

<p><strong>Our client is a leading financial institution looking for a Clearing Specialist to lead all the setups of Clearing System including PCCP system. The setups include instruments, accounts, margin/risk parameters and collaterals among other parameters in PCCP system.</strong></p><p><br></p><p><strong>Job Responsibilities will include:</strong></p><p><br></p><ul><li>Provide support and assistance in all the setups for Clearing System including PCCP system. The setups include instruments, accounts, margin/risk parameters and collaterals among other parameters in PCCP system.</li><li>Manage all the post-trade activities including PCCP system. </li><li>Manage day-to-day system activities including PCCP system (Set daily settlement prices and final settlement prices; run mark-to-market and clearing cycles)</li><li>Make margin calls to Clearing Members and manage the collateral deposited by Clearing Members. </li><li>Account management, Post-trade management, Collateral management</li><li>Monitor trading limits and take appropriate action as and when necessary</li><li>Track payment operations and highlight any discrepancies</li><li>Work closely with internal departments to ensure seamless operations and error free transactions</li><li>Liaise with Regulatory and Compliance departments to ensure compliance to applicable rules and regulations</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Key Skills Requirement:</strong></p><p><br></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree majoring in Business Administration/Management, Business Operations Management or relevant discipline. </li><li>Minimum 8 years of experience in a similar field in an established securities market</li></ul>
