Valley Forge Academy Qatar is a new school established in the Aspire 2 Zone in Doha, Qatar. This position will be in Qatar and will require relocation. It is an all boy school that teaches an American curriculum. All core subject classes are taught in English.. Currently we have pre-K to 7th graders and will be expanding to include grades 8 and 9 in the 23-24 school year. We are looking for teachers with the following characteristics:

• Experience developing and teaching dynamic lessons.
• Ability to differentiate to meet student needs based on their current academic standing and the ability to create a plan to assist students in meeting standards.
• Knowledge of Positive Behavioral Interventions and Support
• Creating an engaging and interactive learning environment.
• Ability to plan units of instruction that align with curriculum and standards.
• Ability to motivate and encourage students while setting a high standard of performance
• Willingness to learn about and accept the culture and respect the beliefs of the Qatari families.
• Understand the importance of good citizenship, leadership, and be willing to model these for students.
• Willingness to take on other responsibilities other than teaching such as extra curricular programs.

The process if hired will require attestation of your documents which is completed through the US State Department. While this can be time consuming, it is required to teach in Doha, Qatar.
