<strong>Job Description</strong><p><br></p>We are currently seeking a Civil Specialist Engineer, reporting directly to Manager to join the team based in Khobar.<p><br></p><strong>About The Role:</strong><p><br></p>Your main missions and responsibilities will be to:<p><br></p>You will work inside the Civil Section that is in charge of the management of Proposals, Basic Engineering Design up to Detail Engineering Design.<p><br></p>Key interaction of Civil Designer are internally with Project teams, Procurement, Construction and others engineering disciplines; externally with Clients, Steel Suppliers.<p><br></p>The role and your responsibilities may include but are not limited to:<p><br></p><strong>Underground works Design</strong><p><br></p><ul><li>Detailed engineering of underground networks including Hydraulic calculation detailed underground drawings, isometric drawings, material take-offs, 3D-model and any other document required for proper performance of underground works, as below detailed.</li></ul><p><br></p><strong>Roads and Paving Design</strong><p><br></p>Execution of Calculation and design of RC paving and asphalt roads in accordance to the International standard and or Project standard<p><br></p><strong>Civil Work Installation Drawings preparation</strong><p><br></p>Preparation and review of CWI drawings mainly including:<p><br></p><ul><li>positions and shapes of concrete foundations, with IFC foundation drawing reference, or estimate shape for foundations on “HOLD”,</li><li>routing, sizing, slope, line number of all underground pipes (pressure and gravity pipes), with all accessories,</li><li>drainage ditches, with indication of width, depth, cover type and slope,</li><li>electrical/instrument cables trenches and duct banks, with indication of width and depth,</li><li>location, elevation and number of all catch pits, manholes, valve pits, in conformity with standards requirements,</li><li>lighting poles foundations,</li><li>location, number of all safety accessories, such as hydrants, lance monitors,</li><li>surface finishing, yards and paved areas, safety barriers, fences, roads, supports, etc.</li><li>definition of interfaces at drawing battery limits,</li><li>list of “HOLD” and pending points.</li></ul><p><br></p><strong>Material Take-Offs</strong><p><br></p>Material take-offs preparation including any item included in the CWI drawings, such as pits, ditches, electrical/instrument Duct bank, etc. with their relevant excavation, backfilling.<p><br></p><strong>Support Services for Procurement:</strong><p><br></p><ul><li>Support for Procurement in Sub contractor / Consultant evaluation</li><li>Interface with other discipline specialist engineers and project support functions such as procurement and planning</li></ul><p><br></p><strong>Engineering / Project Management Activities</strong><p><br></p><ul><li>Participation in Project contract review meetings.</li><li>Discipline contract reviews and Document / Drawings Index, Support services for Schedule Preparation.</li><li>Preparation of project technical specifications in coordination with other disciplines. </li><li>Inter departmental coordination.</li><li>Support to Construction department for preparation of Civil Construction Tender / Offer.</li><li>Participation to Constructability review.</li><li>Participation in Design review, Model reviews.</li><li>Quantity / Material Tracking.</li><li>Coordination with subcontracting consultants for Architectural Designs, Survey works, Consultancy for Soil Investigations works and Structural Steel Fabricators / Consultants for Fabrication Drawings preparation.</li><li>Review of the works performed by the above Outsourcing consultants and recommendations for further engineering and Coordination with Construction / Engineering Sub contractors / Consultants on project need basis. </li></ul><p><br></p>You will have the opportunity to do business trips to attend to technical meetings with Clients or Suppliers, visit Vendor workshop, move to other Technip Energies operating centers and join our colleagues overseas. You will also have the opportunity to follow up engineering activities directly on our sites, supporting construction activities.<p><br></p><strong>About You:</strong><p><br></p>Catch this opportunity and invest on your skills development, should your profile meets these requirements.<p><br></p>Qualifications: Master degree in Civil Engineer<p><br></p>Main Skills:<p><br></p><ul><li>Attitude to problem solving and creation of tools for design automatization</li><li>5 years of experience in Civil design.</li><li>Knowledge of SP3D/PDS, Smart sketch, Autocad, Civil 3D.</li><li>Knowledge of MS office.</li><li>Familiar with Saudi Aramco Standards, tools and requirements</li><li>Attitude to perform the work in team, in an international and multi-cultural environment </li><li>Capability to complete tasks on time with the required Company quality level </li><li>Availability to international mobility for either short or long term assignment </li></ul><p><br></p><strong>Experiences in:</strong><p><br></p><strong>GES+, Oil&Gas industry </strong><p><br></p><strong>Languages: </strong><p><br></p><ul><li> proficiency English </li></ul><p><br></p><strong>What’s Next?</strong><p><br></p>Starting Date: June 2023<p><br></p>Internal applications are treated with priority by our Recruiting Team against external applications.
