<strong><u>Job Description</u></strong><p><br></p><strong>Civil Inspector</strong><p><br></p><strong>Qatar</strong><p><br></p>Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented <strong>Civil Inspector</strong> to join our team! In this role you will get to inspect various facets of work on the construction site and performs continuous surveillance of assigned construction activities to ensure compliance with all applicable codes, standards, and specifications.<p><br></p><strong><u>What You Will Be Doing</u></strong><p><br></p><ul><li>The Civil Inspector under general supervision, performs moderately complex quality control inspection activities on assigned Civil engineering project to ensure that products or services provided are in accordance with customer and Parsons requirements.</li><li>Performs inspections/surveillances based on training received.</li><li>Implements inspection, examination, and testing procedures and records inspection, examination, and testing data.</li><li>Evaluates the validity and acceptability of inspection, examination and testing results and reports inspection, examination and testing results.</li><li>Performs and documents inspections of subcontractor work.</li><li>Oversees subcontractor inspections and review of subcontractor work.</li><li>Reviews and audits subcontractor generated quality records.</li><li>Ensures compliance to HSE requirements applicable for their work scope.</li><li>Documents and communicates inspection results in a clear and concise manner. Understands contract requirements and subcontractor(s) contract requirements.</li><li>Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.</li></ul><p><br></p><strong><u>What Required Skills You Will Bring</u></strong><p><br></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s Degree and/ or Diploma in Engineering from a recognized institute to the approval of the Engineer.</li><li>Minimum 10 years of demonstrable experience of supervision of civil construction projects of which not less than 5 years and shall be in works related to similar surface and ground water network project.</li><li>Experience should also include construction involving in deep excavations, structural and water retaining concrete, temporary works, dewatering, pavement / road works, utilities diversion / interface etc.</li><li>Particular emphasis on micro tunneling works, procedures, machinery, setup, monitoring micro tunnel site activities.</li><li>Must have good command of English both written and spoken.</li></ul><p><br></p><strong><u>What Desired Skills You Will Bring</u></strong><p><br></p><ul><li>Excellent interpersonal, report writing and communication skills.</li></ul><p><br></p><strong><u>Minimum Clearance Required To Start</u></strong><p><br></p>Not Applicable/None<p><br></p>Parsons is an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity in the workplace.
