- undertaking technical and feasibility studies including site investigations
- liaising with clients and a variety of professionals including architects and subcontractors
- compiling job specs and supervising tendering procedures
- resolving design and development problems
- managing budgets and project resources
- scheduling material and equipment purchases and deliveries
- making sure the project complies with legal requirements
- assessing the sustainability and environmental impact of projects
- ensuring projects run smoothly and structures are completed within budget and on time
- Managing, directing and monitoring progress during each phase of a project
- Making sure sites meet legal guidelines, and health and safety requirements
- Assessing the environmental impact and risks connected to project
- Reviews plan and shop drawings approval prior to installation at site
- Evaluate material submittal specifications in accordance with the project specifications
- Inspect completed installations to insure conformance to design
- Review detail of contract agreement for consultants and contractors
- Schedules, assigns, plans and monitor the work of personnel performing a variety of projects
Skills
- Established track record of working in the Civil and Construction sector as an engineer.
- Proficient in using 2D and 3D civil engineering software like AutoCAD, Revit, HEC-HMS, and BIMsight.
- Showing excellent performance in distinct setups to complete ongoing construction projects with high efficiency.
- Excellent report writing skills.
- Project management and supervision skills.
- Professional technical education in Civil Engineering with expertise in Project Management.
- It’s mandatory to have a UPDA certificate (minimum Grade C).
