<p>Role Overview:</p><p>We are a Dubai based company , seeking a seasoned Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to lead and drive our technological strategy. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background and in-depth understanding of developing and managing technology solutions. They will be responsible for steering our technical vision, overseeing our technology development, and leading our team of engineers to ensure alignment with business goals.</p><p><br></p><p>Key Responsibilities:</p><p><br></p><ol><li>Strategic Technological Vision: Shape and drive the company’s strategic technological direction by staying at the forefront of technology trends and ensuring that our products and services are built on secure, scalable, and efficient platforms.</li><li>Product Development: Oversee all system design and changes in system architecture, ensuring software meets requirements of quality, security, modifiability, extensibility, etc.</li><li>Research and Development: Lead R&D efforts to ensure the continuous introduction of new technologies, keeping the company technologically competitive and innovative.</li><li>Team Management and Leadership: Directly manage a dynamic IT team, consisting of software architects, developers, and analysts. Cultivate the team’s development by encouraging continual learning and growth.</li><li>IT Operations: Ensure robust and effective software and IT operations, infrastructure, and cybersecurity systems. Implement and manage disaster recovery and back-up procedures.</li><li>Budget Management: Develop and control the IT annual operating and capital expenditure budget to ensure it’s consistent with the overall strategic objectives of IT and the enterprise.</li><li>Vendor Management: Develop strategic relationships with key IT vendors and service providers, ensuring that the company receives high-quality services and advantageous terms.</li><li>Risk Management: Identify potential risks and vulnerabilities, and create plans to mitigate them.</li></ol><p>Qualifications:</p><ol><li>Proven experience as a CTO or similar leadership role, preferably in a relevant industry.</li><li>Strong knowledge of the technological landscape, including new and emerging technologies and development methodologies.</li><li>Extensive experience managing IT infrastructure and IT operations.</li><li>A strategic thinker with advanced analytical and problem-solving skills.</li><li>Exceptional team management and leadership skills.</li><li>Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.</li><li>BSc/BA in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field; MBA or other relevant graduate degree is a plus.</li></ol>
