<p><strong>Overview</strong></p><p><br></p><p>Sustainure is a forward-thinking boutique ESG consultancy startup and is currently on the lookout for a dynamic and entrepreneurial individual for the post of Chief Sustainability Officer. We are building a global remote team and the candidate would get to work with a diverse group of individuals.</p><p><br></p><p>The firm specializes in the following services:</p><p><br></p><ol><li>Materiality Assessment &amp; Scoping</li><li>Goal setting, Measurement &amp; Evaluation</li><li>Sustainability Reporting (Based on GRI/global standards)</li><li>Stakeholder Engagement</li><li>Awareness , Education &amp; Training</li><li>Recording, Reporting &amp; Dashboarding platform</li><li>Technology Integrations to assist with ESG implementation</li></ol><p><br></p><p>We are focussing heavily in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region and APAC region. This position is a phenomenal opportunity for an ESG/Sustainability specialist with a proven track record in leadership roles, keen to bring their wealth of experience to a growing ESG consultancy.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p><ol><li>Provide the domain expertise for the above services</li><li>GHG Emission/Carbon footprint calculations</li><li>Engage with clients, build lasting relationships, and identify new business opportunities</li><li>Oversee client projects</li></ol><p><br></p><p><strong>Qualifications &amp; Requirements</strong></p><ol><li>Certificate / Degree in ESG/Sustainability</li><li>Experience in implementing above services.</li></ol><p><br></p><p><strong>Offerings</strong></p><ol><li>Co Founder role: The position could proceed to be a Co-Founder role – you will have a significant impact on shaping the company’s future and strategy.</li><li>Significant Equity ownership if made Co-Founder: You will be offered an equity stake in the company</li><li>Opportunity to travel, starting with Dubai in October 2023.</li></ol><p><br></p><p><strong>Please note this is not a monthly paid opportunity </strong>- we are looking for someone with a lot of grit and positive attitude with a vision to build a long-lasting business.
