<p><strong><u>Chief Mate (First Mate) Loading Master</u></strong></p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p><p><br></p><ul><li>Deputizing for the Captain in their absence and assuming command if the Captain is incapacitated.</li><li>Project a professional image when dealing with customer and their employees.</li><li>The safekeeping of a navigation watch.</li><li>The operation of a preventative maintenance system and upkeep of the hull, decks, and superstructures.</li><li>Stability of the vessel.</li><li>Performs Loading Master duties and responsibilities for SAUDI ARAMCO operations, including the barge pumps and valves he operates.</li><li>Line up the system on the barge for loading/discharging, start/stop the pumps, and monitor the pumps’ condition during the entire operation.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li><li>Overseeing and directing the deck department’s daily duties</li><li>Ensuring rules and regulations are followed.</li><li>Maintenance of log books and ship’s day-to-day business.</li><li>Ensuring company ISM and QSMS policies and procedures are adhered to.</li><li>Other duties assigned.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Qualifications: </strong>At all times during the term of the Contract, the Loading Master shall have the qualifications and responsibilities below:</p><p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</p><ul><li><span>STCW II/1 + STCW V/1 pt. 2.2/ (2 Years tanker experience).</span></li><li>shall possess industrial training.</li><li>shall preferably possess experience in offshore vessel/floating barges operations.</li><li>shall be able to speak, read, and write English fluently and subject to Marlin test if required.&nbsp;</li></ul><p><br></p><p><br></p>
