<p><span>Our client is looking for an experienced Chief</span> Compliance Officer<span> located in KSA, Qatar, or the UAE. Applicants from Europe willing to relocate to the GCC region are welcome.</span></p><p><br></p><p>A well-established and prominent Dubai organization is seeking an experienced and dynamic Chief Compliance Officer (CCO) to join our executive leadership team. The successful candidate will ensure that our company complies with the relevant laws and regulations while also aligning our compliance strategy with our broader business objectives.</p><p> </p><p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p><p> </p><ul><li>Develop and oversee the implementation of company-wide compliance programs and policies</li><li>Identify potential areas of compliance vulnerability and risk, and mitigate any legal, regulatory, or reputational issues</li><li> Collaborate with other executive team members to ensure that compliance initiatives are integrated across all business units and activities</li><li> Advise management on regulatory changes, laws, and best practices to maintain compliance across markets</li><li> Implement ongoing training programs for employees to promote awareness of compliance standards</li><li>Manage relationships with regulators and handle any inquiries, audits, or investigations</li><li>Conduct regular audits to assess compliance with policies and procedures and recommend improvements, when necessary</li><li>Provide periodic reports to the Board of Directors and executive management on the status of compliance efforts</li></ul><p> </p><p><strong>Requirements:</strong></p><p> </p><ul><li> Bachelor’s degree in law, business, finance, or a related field</li><li> Minimum of 12 years of experience in compliance, legal, or regulatory roles, with at least 5 years in a senior compliance management position</li><li>In-depth knowledge of local and international compliance laws and regulations, particularly in the financial or other heavily regulated sectors</li><li> Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and manage risk</li><li> Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with a track record of collaborating with senior executives</li><li> Demonstrated leadership skills and the capacity to foster a culture of compliance within the organization</li><li> Professional certifications, such as Certified Compliance and Ethics Professional (CCEP) or equivalent, are highly desirable</li></ul><p><br></p><p><span>Disclaimer: HAX consulting or the poster of the job are not in control of the hiring process for this role, the job owner (partner) is in charge of the hiring process and will shortlist the ideal candidate accordingly.</span></p>
