The mission of the Chief Accountant is to oversee the accounting operations of the Tunisian entity and to ensure all financial transactions are properly recorded and reported in a timely fashion.

Main Missions :

  • Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting & accounting under group IFRS standards and local statutory requirements

  • Active participation in Month-End Closing

  • Ensure other calculation and posting of business transactions in accordance with local work instructions (reconciliations, journal entries)

  • Be responsible for consolidations and local statutory financial statements preparation

  • Prepare of statutory financial statements

  • Conduct balance sheet reviews, ensuring completeness and accuracy of data

  • Support the audit process and implement recommendations from internal and external audits

  • Ensure the company complies with local laws and regulations

  • Ensure that records are maintained in accordance with Tunisian and US GAAP

  • Close binder integrity

  • Ensure Month end accounts reconciliation

  • Support SOX Controls & testing

To be successful for this role :

  • Strong organizational skills

  • Previous Experience in automotive Industry, preferably in a similar position

  • SAP knowledge or similar ERP system

  • Good knowledge of in Office tools (Excel) and HFM (reporting system)

  • Good analytical vision.

Language Skills:

  • Good communication skills in both French and English
