The company was founded on May 29, 1933 and is headquartered in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia.</p> <p><strong>Job Summary</strong></p> <p>We are seeking an experienced chemical process engineer to work under Hawiyah Gas Storage Development (HGSD). As a Sr. Engineer, you will be able to perform and direct complex engineering tasks including leading process upsets investigation teams, HAZOP teams, and providing guidance, work direction and training to junior engineers in work techniques, methods and process equipment. You will also provide technical support relating to plant processes, equipment performance and reliability, energy efficiency, safety, cost savings, innovation and new technology applications. Additionally, you will provide technical review and support to plant modifications. HGSD process hydrocarbons at the highest standards of safety, reliability, efficiency and in an environmentally responsible way through empowered competent teams and using state of the art technologies.</p> <p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Conducts process troubleshooting and optimization activities.</li> <li>Provides technical guidance and field support for all process-related issues in the plant.</li> <li>Leads investigations and HAZOP (Hazard and Operability) studies.</li> <li>Performs detailed design reviews of plant modifications.</li> <li>Conducts equipment/process assessment studies and feasibility studies to improve plant safety, reliability, or efficiency.</li> <li>Trains, mentors, and develops young engineers.</li> <li>Identifies, assesses, and implements new technologies to enhance process safety, reliability, and efficiency.</li><br></ul> <p><strong>Requirements:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Holds at least a BS degree in chemical engineering from a recognized and approved institution.</li> <li>Has 10 to 15 years of experience, preferably in the Gas industry and at operating facilities.</li> <li>Capable of performing process simulations and conducting equipment sizing and performance calculations (e.g., relief valve, control valves, heat exchanger performance).</li> <li>Experienced in process safety management systems and tools, including risk assessments, HAZOPs (Hazard and Operability Studies), and MOCs (Management of Change).</li> <li>Possesses a thorough knowledge of industry standards (e.g., API) as well as best practices (RAGAGEP – Recognized and Generally Accepted Good Engineering Practices).</li> <li>Demonstrates a track record of mentoring and developing junior engineers.</li> <li>Has experience in Triethylene Glycol (TEG) and compression operations.</li></ul>
