<strong><u>Position Summary<br></u></strong>Royal Caribbean Cruises Limited is seeking a Lead, IT Enterprise Portfolio in Miramar, FL. The Lead, IT Enterprise Portfolio will be responsible for assisting with the implementation of project governance solutions that focus on intake(Demand Management), program & project tracking, financials, and resource alignment across all IT initiatives.<br>The Lead, IT Enterprise Portfolio will support the implementation and administration of the project portfolio management solution across the IT organization with the goal of ensuring alignment across IT, and its business partners, and improving the successful execution of IT initiatives. The Lead, IT Enterprise Portfolio will partner across teams to enhance project intake/demand management processes while identifying improvement areas, create and implement recommendations and action plans. This role will train and educate stakeholders on intake/demand management procedures, new products, and ensure team members execute in compliance with standards.<br>In addition, this role is responsible for supporting a team of Project and Portfolio Managers with respect to project administration, gating and governance. The Lead, IT Enterprise Portfolio will provide project management guidance as it relates to maintaining data integrity within the tools to help teams gain better insight into their portfolio’s performance allowing teams to improve planning efforts and ensure predictable delivery.<br>The Lead, IT Enterprise Portfolio will be charged with assisting in driving the organization’s project management capability towards best practice. The role will also be responsible for monitoring the delivery of multiple IT projects across the businesses. In addition, this role will educate teams to adopt project management best practices by providing the necessary leadership and ensure project teams are adhering to project management standards. This role will also assist with soliciting feedback to streamline processes as part of the ongoing process improvement initiatives for project management.<br><strong><u>Essential Duties And Responsibilities<br></u></strong><ul><li> Lead a team of analysts to implement and support productivity solutions that support the IT department and strategic programs (ex. Apptio(Financials), Time Tracking, Resource Tracking (Econometrix), and PowerBI for reporting) </li><li> Take responsibility for supporting product leadership with their portfolio of products, intake education, steering committee presentation, and project brief creation. </li><li> Provide support functions such as project planning, issue management, risk tracking and mitigation, resource tracking and scorecarding. </li><li> Educate Project Managers on maintaining project work plans which include tasks and resource management, scope, budget and planning/scheduling as measures of success. </li><li> Maintain effective working relationships with Project and Portfolio Managers to ensure standards, processes and tools are effectively applied to manage projects. </li><li> Work with Finance, Project and Portfolio Managers to solicit, & analyze data required for performance metrics and reporting and assess trends, recommend findings that will help improve the performance of the portfolio specifically in use of project management discipline and delivery. </li><li> Assist with follow-up reviews to ensure appropriate corrective actions have been implemented by project teams. </li><li> Support ongoing onboarding of resources in PPM tool & time tracking tool, evaluating process, quality, issue resolution and taking corrective action or escalating issues as needed. </li><li> Develop and deliver new workflows across assigned portfolios and programs, ensuring teams are adhering to guidelines </li><li> Financial performance reporting of assigned programs and portfolios from capital and operating perspectives </li><li> Analyzes capacity data and identifies common capacity problems or bottlenecks and possible solutions. </li><li> Understands and can summarize the budgeting process cycle, necessary inputs and reporting requirements. </li><li> Interprets and explains results of data-gathering initiatives. </li><li> Maintain PPM tool, Financial tools(Apptio), and Time Tracking tool (Visio) training materials and provide training sessions as needed </li><li> Other duties as assigned <br></li></ul><strong> Competencies <br></strong>Capacity Planning<br><ul><li> Assesses the relationship between capacity, performance and service level requirements. </li><li> Applies appropriate tools and methods for capacity planning & performance management of applications. </li><li> Analyzes capacity data and identifies common capacity problems or bottlenecks. </li><li> Works with developers and users to plan resource requirements for networks or systems under development. </li><li> Produces, collates and reports capacity-related measurements to examine application service levels. <br></li></ul>Process Management<br><ul><li> Identifies, designs, implements and monitors common process bottlenecks. </li><li> Walks through steps, decisions, measurements, dependencies and hand-offs for a specific process. </li><li> Documents types of process decisions and potential impact of each decision. </li><li> Creates process flow or work flow diagrams. <br></li></ul>Data Gathering and Reporting<br><ul><li> Participates in projects to gather data for needs analysis. </li><li> Detects and summarizes patterns in data and findings by producing simple reports. </li><li> Customizes data fields to meet clients’ needs. </li><li> Assesses common problems and obstacles surrounding data-gathering. </li><li> Interprets and explains results of a data-gathering initiative. <br></li></ul>IT Governance<br><ul><li> Implements the mission, vision and objectives of the IT governance function. </li><li> Employs appropriate metrics used to enable IT governance reporting. </li><li> Assesses the major functions of governance tools and key governance reports. </li><li> Analyzes how IT Governance applies to one’s own function; applies relevant constructs to day-to-day work. <br></li></ul>Budgeting<br><ul><li> Describes major budget items in own organization in general terms. </li><li> Explains the various purposes and uses of budgets. </li><li> Lists essential elements of a budget. </li><li> Summarizes the budgeting process cycle, necessary inputs and reporting requirements. </li><li> Supplies supporting information and justification for major line items <br></li></ul>Producing Results<br><ul><li> Explains the concept of adapting tactics to support changing needs. </li><li> Explains the difference between effort and achievement. </li><li> Explains the importance of producing results that matter to the business. </li><li> Provides examples of using back-channel methods to get things done. <br></li></ul><strong><u>Financial Responsibilities<br></u></strong>Not Applicable<br><strong><u>Qualifications<br></u></strong><ul><li> Bachelor’s Degree in related discipline or related subject and/or demonstrated capability through four (4) previous years of experience and education </li><li> Five (5) years of experience in IT Program/Project Management with Delivery experience </li><li> Two (2) years financial or accounting experience in a project delivery or support role </li><li> Experience with Project and Portfolio Management tools a plus </li><li> Scrum Certification (Optional </li><li> Jira. Visual requirement include distant, close and color vision, and ability to adjust focus.
