Job Description:
? Responsible for overseeing a specific section of the kitchen, such as sauces, vegetables, or fish.
? Preparation and cooking of dishes in their assigned section while making sure to maintain high standards of hygiene and food safety.
? Ensuring the efficient use of ingredients and supplies to reduce waste and keep costs under control.
? Collaborate with the head chef to develop new menu items and specials and assisting in menu planning and pricing as needed.
? Manage and order supplies for their assigned section.
? Participate in kitchen meetings and contributing ideas for menu development and kitchen improvements.
