<p>The American&nbsp;University of Beirut (AUB) Faculty of Medicine (FM) is seeking a recognized academic and clinical leader for the position of Chairperson of the Department of Family Medicine.</p><p><br></p><p>The Department of Family Medicine at AUB-FM has been playing a distinguished role in strengthening the discipline of family medicine nationally and regionally through education, research, and clinical services. The Department offers four-year residency training in Family Medicine (accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education International – ACGME-I), in addition to fellowship trainings in Sports Medicine, Geriatric Medicine (with the Department of Internal Medicine), and Occupational and Environmental Medicine.</p><p><br></p><p>The Department delivers comprehensive care to AUB’s community of students, faculty, staff, and their dependents, as well as employee health services. It also offers patient-centered care, in addition to executive and travel health services through its outpatient clinics, health and wellness center, primary health care center, and its outreach programs.</p><p><br></p><p>The candidates for the position of Chairperson of the Department of Family Medicine&nbsp;should be accomplished academic and clinical leaders with a strong background in family medicine and primary healthcare.
