JOB PURPOSE: 
The purpose of this position is to maintain the Centralized control sub systems. As, ATS, SCADA, ECO, VCP…
You will be required to perform routine maintenance, troubleshoot malfunctioning systems, repair, or replace parts, and conduct safety tests. The objective is to maintain the Centralized control asset and equipment in the operational and best condition deployed along the stations, tunnels and two workshops of Cairo Metro Line3.
RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES 
•    Ensure the maintenance tools & equipment are in good condition.
•    Assist the Centralized Control supervisor in carrying out all level of preventive and corrective maintenance activities in all sites of Cairo Metro Line 3.
•    Overseeing the preventive maintenance of Centralized Control Equipment.
•    Close supervision and leadership of subcontractors to ensure that they are following the PM plan without failures.
•    Immediate responding to equipment failures and system malfunctions.
•    Perform line corrective maintenance to release failures on equipment in station and back office in the shortest possible time to ensure good operation of the equipment and the system.
•    Installing and testing Centralized Control systems.
•    Carrying out safety checks.
•    Maintaining stock and ordering supplies.
•    Maintaining a clean working area. 
•    Ensuring compliance with appliance standards and with Health and Safety rules.
•    Ensuring all environmental and safety rules are respected and alert Executive Maintenance of any environmental and safety issue. 
•    Accurate reporting to the management regarding the executed tasks and activities.
•    Undertake any other duties as assigned.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE
QUALIFICATIONS:
•    High school diploma or equivalent; Telecom or Electrical certification.
•    Proven experience as maintenance technician.
•    knowledge of Centralized Control sub systems (Light Current -ATS-SCADA-Networking).
•    Knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods.
•    Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
•    Ability to troubleshoot Centralized Control malfunctions.
•    Physically fit and able to handle tasks in time.
•    Working knowledge of tools, common appliances, and devices.
•    Ability to work independently.
KNOWLEDGE:
•    General technical knowledge.
•    Railway knowledge is preferred.
EXPERIENCE:
•    Fresh graduate or experienced in electrical and communication environment is preferred especially railway and METRO centralized control maintenance.
DESIRED BEHAVIORS 
•    English – good in speaking, reading and Arabic is a must. 
•    Ability to use maintenance tools and PC.
•    Ability to write simple technical reports, routine business correspondence and drawings as required.
•    Possess good communication skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and work productively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
•    Strong organizational skills, detail oriented, and the ability to handle multiple priorities.
•    Ability to work rotational shifts.
