<p><strong><u>Summary:</u></strong></p><p>The Cell Leader (Operation Team Leader) is responsible and accountable for the effective shop floor execution of operations of the dedicated product line. He/she will manage a team of Hourly Production Technicians. He/she will have overall responsibility for the effective and successful management of Labor, productivity, Quality, and safety in shop floor execution.</p><p><br></p><p><strong><u>Job Primary Tasks &amp; Responsibilities:</u></strong></p><ul><li>Drive Quality and EHS production-related scope activities and processes to ensure a safe work environment and quality assurance for completed products.</li><li>Responsible for the implementation of the production execution plan, guiding the shop floor technicians, and explaining the jobs in smaller tasks to the technicians, fitters welders that lead to bottom-line results;</li><li>Define and implement key performance indicators that are in place and being utilized to ensure production targets are met;</li><li>Detect critical production issues in the execution, including quality and engineering requirements. He/she will engage with the Production Manager, the engineering team, and the Quality team to identify, develop, and drive required corrective actions for critical production issues;</li><li>Holding and driving required actions on daily production touchpoints with the team to ensure plan vs. actual progress;</li><li>Define and drive productivity utilization metrics to maximize production efficiency and work with Production Manager to secure production execution support when and as required;</li><li>Collaborate with Production Planner in identifying and preparation of daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules to include manpower &amp; maintenance requirements and monitor the job hours on the shop floor;</li><li>Developing and implementing the skills matrix and training plan for the production line to manage training requirements of shop floor workers and technicians, including regulatory and compliance training to maintain and improve cross-functional skillset;</li><li>Stay aligned with Production Manager on business annual and quarterly targets to define requirements for the indirect/direct labor hours as per committed OTD;</li><li>Develop a road map and implement necessary actions to deliver productivity opportunities to maximize cost and drive performance efficiency.</li><li>Regularly reviewing process flow to ensure efficiencies are optimized and support/lead action workouts, utilizing lean principles/problem-solving as appropriate to improve processes;</li><li>Effectively communicating the business strategy, customer updates, and key milestones to Production Manager and support teams;</li><li>Assist the Production Manager in preparing progress reports, management information systems reports, and other data points;</li><li>Manage labor flexibility within projects/ teams to support the broader operational needs of the business;</li><li>Ensure adherence to all shop floor policies and work in partnership with the HR department to manage employees and hourly workers;</li><li>Assist and support regulatory audits and implement action plans to close audit findings.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong><u>KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:</u></strong></p><ul><li>EHS and Quality operational awareness;</li><li>Good understanding of engineering drawing;</li><li>Leadership skills, resource allocation, and planning;</li><li>Problem-solving aptitude;</li><li>Continuous Improvement and Productivity skillset;</li><li>Excellent communication skills.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong><u>Education and Experience:</u></strong></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.</li><li>At least five(5) years of experience in the Manufacturing, Energy, or Oil &amp; Gas industry.</li></ul>
