We might have the role for you!</strong><p><br></p>At G4S Facilities Management we are passionate about the services we deliver; and our facilities management professionals are at the heart of everything that we do.<p><br></p>We are looking to recruit a Catering Assistant to join our team, North Wiltshire School is spread over three school sites, you may be asked to work at another site if the need arises to which we will reimburse travel expenses.<p><br></p>As a Catering Assistant, you will assist in providing catering and food services to the school, maintaining an awareness of health and food safety standards and working as part of a team to ensure service delivery across the contract.<p><br></p><strong>Main Tasks And Responsibilities</strong><p><br></p><ul><li>Preparation of cold snack items. </li><li>Preparation of cake or biscuit items for sale. </li><li>Preparation of items on the menu as directed by the chef manager. </li><li>Serving of food to customers. </li><li>Operation of tills and use of cashless catering. </li><li>Cashing up of tills. </li><li>Clearing up of kitchen and restaurant areas. </li><li>Completing paperwork as required. </li></ul><p><br></p>This is a part-time role based at Malmesbury School, working 27.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 8:30 am – 2:30 pm with a 30 minute break.<p><br></p><strong>The Ideal Candidate</strong><p><br></p><strong>Essential Criteria:</strong><p><br></p><ul><li>Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills. </li><li>The ability to work well as part of a team. </li><li>Flexible with an awareness of basic food safety. </li></ul><p><br></p><strong>Ideally you will have experience of working in catering within a school environment, however training will be provided. </strong><p><br></p><strong>Benefits</strong><p><br></p><ul><li>Uniform Provided </li><li>Annual leave entitlement – 20 days plus bank holidays Pro Rata </li><li>Pension scheme </li><li>Access to our employee assistance programme </li><li>Perks at work scheme </li><li>Refer a friend cash scheme </li><li>Training provided </li><li>Employee of the month cash scheme </li><li>Opportunity for progression</li></ul>
