Job Description

<p><strong><u>Missions:</u></strong></p><p>To deliver compliant database operational services to the community that uses the company’s information systems.</p><p>Mainly Oracle, MySQL/Mariadb, MSSQLServer</p><p>Key Activities:</p><p>· Is responsible for technical projects management (to deploy a solution, deliveries, installation, interfaces with different teams…).</p><p>· Designs &amp; builds complex solutions, Plans the installation &amp; the acceptance of DB environments.</p><p>· Plans for the right level of availability &amp; performance</p><p>· Deploys high availability and disaster recovery procedures</p><p>· Manages and takes decisions on incidents, problems, change, configuration, capacity</p><p>· Deals with complex issues &amp; Intervenes on emergency request to minimize impact on production.</p><p>· Monitors the utilization of resources, Troubleshoots performance issues, Finds root causes of problems &amp; Interrupts</p><p>· Responsible for security, controls and license use to meet compliance external/internal requirements.</p><p>· Build and Review design documents and procedures</p><p>· Comply with OLA/SLA requirements</p><p>· Keeps up-to-date on the state of the art, Provides assistance and expertise to Global ST DBA community</p><p><br></p><p><strong><u>Profile:</u></strong></p><p>Education: high school engineer, BAC+5</p><p>Experience: 4-5 Years</p><p>Competencies</p><p>· Good experience in managing big Databases in a context of critical, complex and evolutive/demanding business environment.</p><p>· Competencies in Oracle ( 10g, 11g, 12g, 19c), Oracle Grid Control, Oracle GoldenGate, Mariadb , MSSQLServer</p><p>· Competencies in Database reporting and tuning (statpack, AWR, ADDM …)</p><p>· Competencies in Database security, backup/restore, disaster recovery</p><p>· Competencies in PLSQL, Unix shell scripting, perl scripting</p><p>· Knowledge on High availability environment (MC Service Guard, VCS cluster, Microsoft Cluster …), DB monitoring.</p><p>· Arab, French, English spoken and written.</p><ul><li>· Team spirit, service oriented, autonomous, rigorous, committed</li></ul>
