Our client Saudi Armco Academic has large requirements for Jordanian nationals with the requirements below :<p><br></p><u><strong>Career Counselor (Educational Psychologist )</strong></u><p><br></p><strong>Education/Qualification</strong><p><br></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in educational psychology or related field (i.e., developmental psychology, educational counselling, school social work or socio-therapy; Master’s degree or higher preferred</li><li>Valid and recognized educational psychology training</li></ul> <strong>Experience : </strong><p><br></p><ul><li>Minimum of four (4) years of experience as an educational psychologist, special education instructor, counsellor, advisor or relevant role that involves the application of educational psychological theory and praxis</li><li>Experience working with people who have a wide range of disabilities and needs</li><li>Proficient command of spoken, written and presentational skills in Arabic and English</li></ul> <strong>Preferred Skills :</strong><p><br></p><ul><li> Good knowledge of current special needs topics and service methodologies</li><li> Ability to conduct evaluative testing and assessments to support creation of Individualized Educational Plans (IEPs)</li><li> Endowed with a patient, resourceful, and resilient personality, and able to be sensitive, empathetic and willing to establish rapport with individuals</li><li> Ability to cope with emotional situations, owning excellent listening and observational skills</li><li> Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in Arabic and English</li></ul><p><br></p>
