The company was founded on May 29, 1933 and is headquartered in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia.</p> <p><strong>Job Summary</strong></p> <p>We are seeking an Analyst to join the Capital Programs Division (CPD) in Capital Programs & Contracting Compliance Department within Controller’s. Controller’s is a part of the Finance business line in This Company and reports to the Sr. Vice President of Finance, Strategy & Development. The Capital Programs Division is responsible for providing controllership, financial advisory, and decision support for items related to This Company’s Capital Program and individual Expenditure Requests. The successful candidate will be involved in all aspects of the project life, from Business Plan through Post Project Appraisal. CPD’s core activities include reviewing projects proposed for the Capital Budget, to ensure validity of business case and compliance with Company policies. The review of projects proposed for funding, to ensure validity of business case and compliance with Company policies. Participating in This Company’s gated project review process while performing analysis post project completion, to ensure the project objectives were met, and identify opportunities for improvement, including lessons learned. And conducting special studies as and when required.</p> <p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Review and analyze proposed new projects for inclusion in the Business Plan.</li> <li>Review and analyze proposed capital projects for funding actions.</li> <li>Represent Controller’s office in various project gate reviews.</li> <li>Review capital projects prior to funding and provide recommendations to Controller’s management.</li> <li>Prepare policy and project funding guidance as needed.</li> <li>Prepare monthly and quarterly reports as required.</li> <li>Conduct detailed analysis of post-project performance and present findings to management.</li><br></ul> <p><strong>Requirements:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree in business administration, economics, or engineering, and a professional certification, such as CPA, ACCA, or CFA. An MBA or related graduate degree is preferred.</li> <li>10+ years of relevant experience in financial analysis, project evaluations, project controls, process/change management, or strategy/management consulting in various industries. Leadership skills and experience with SAP or equivalent ERP systems are highly desirable.</li> <li>Significant experience in one or more industries, which may allow the candidate to be considered a subject matter expert in that industry.</li> <li>Ability to establish personal credibility with various internal clients and demonstrate excellent interpersonal and engagement skills.</li> <li>A team player who can work across business lines to add value and achieve team objectives.</li> <li>Ability to plan and coordinate workload and meet deadlines.</li> <li>Strong skills in strategy, corporate finance, and accounting, including the ability to evaluate industry and individual company information.</li> <li>Able to work with minimal supervision.</li> <li>Possess demonstrated project management skills and ability to offer logical and innovative solutions to complex client issues.</li> <li>Willingness to travel as required.</li></ul>
