Job Description
We are seeking a Camp Boss to oversee and manage all camp-related activities within our organization. As the Camp Boss, you will be responsible for maintaining the camp facility, managing food services, coordinating transportation, and handling camp administration tasks. Your role will involve ensuring a safe, comfortable, and efficient living environment for camp residents.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the camp facility, including maintenance, cleanliness, and overall functionality.
- Manage and supervise food services, ensuring the provision of quality meals that meet the dietary needs of camp residents.
- Coordinate transportation arrangements for camp residents, including scheduling and ensuring timely and efficient transportation services.
- Handle camp administration tasks, such as managing camp registrations, maintaining records, and preparing reports as required.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards, implementing appropriate measures to maintain a safe and secure camp environment.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including camp residents, suppliers, and contractors, to address any camp-related issues and ensure effective communication.
- Manage camp inventory and supplies, ensuring adequate availability and proper storage of essential items.
- Monitor camp facilities and equipment, coordinating maintenance and repair activities as needed.
- Provide leadership and support to camp staff, promoting a positive work environment and ensuring the team’s adherence to camp policies and procedures.
Skills
Qualifications:
- High school/Diploma/Bachelors.
- Minimum of 5+ years of similar experience in managing camp activities.
- Proven experience in a similar role, overseeing camp operations and managing camp facilities.
- Strong organizational and time management skills to effectively handle multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with diverse stakeholders and address their needs.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and standards related to camp facilities, food services, and transportation.
- Proficiency in camp administration tasks, including record keeping and report preparation.
- Ability to lead and motivate a team, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Problem-solving abilities to address camp-related issues and implement effective solutions.
- Flexibility and adaptability to handle changing camp requirements and unexpected situations.
