<p>Provision is looking to hire a self-motivated individual to lead, coordinate and supervise their FF&E Business Unit (BU) based for projects in the Middle East and North America. The ideal candidate will have a collaborative spirit and proven success managing all facets of a hotel project.</p><p> </p><p>JOB DESCRIPTION</p><p>The candidate must be a self-starter who will be responsible for supervising and managing all deliverables assigned to the BU. The job requires understanding and implementing strategic objectives set by the organization/project stakeholders for the timely execution of project deliverables concerning FF&E procurement and delivery. Client interface will be required. Asserting authority and ensuring that project deadlines are met with minimal errors are important factors in this position.</p><p> </p><p>ABOUT THE ROLE</p><ul><li>Manages project services required; maintain internal cost control procedures, monitors and documents project process.</li><li>Contributes to Provision’s leadership by enabling clear communication among all internal and external project stakeholders</li><li>Promotes project management as a discipline within and outside Provision. Ability to be the intermediary between Provision’s back-office resources in Dubai/Bangalore and the client, clearly communicating requirements and deliverables.</li><li>Meticulously develops (in conjunction with other stakeholders) and maintains a Critical Path for each project. Reviews Critical Path on a weekly basis for conformance and deliverables</li><li>Convey valuable design information from the client to the FF&E department</li><li>Serves as primary contact with client, external consultants and vendors</li><li>Documents all project phases</li><li>Chairs daily project coordination meetings on all active projects. Schedules and chairs all client meetings. Records the minutes of these meetings and documents action items</li><li>Monitors services vis-à-vis the contract requirements and identifies changes in project scope, schedule or service that result in supplemental or additional services and bring such changes to the immediate attention of project stakeholders</li><li>Responsible for total BU P&L in conjunction with the company leadership and pursues payment compliant with services agreement.</li><li>Maintains and updates project data in a timely fashion to insure accurate reporting of earnings and accurate billings</li><li>Supervises multiple employees</li></ul><p> </p><p>ABOUT YOU</p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree or relevant combination of education, professional certifications, with 7 to 10 years experience and/or technical background in FF&E hotel procurement or fit-out/joinery.</li><li>Systematic and logical in approach to decision making</li><li>Assert authority when necessary and strive to adhere to timescales and deadlines</li><li>Subscribe to strict standards of quality and accuracy</li><li>Consistently develop practical procedures and complete tasks through to a conclusion</li><li>Set clear objectives, monitor progress, take corrective action and control performance levels</li><li>5 years of proven experience in the field along with proven managerial experience</li><li>Fluency in written and verbal English is mandatory</li><li>Knowledge of hotel design and specialist expertise is preferred</li><li>Ability to work in a team-oriented environment</li><li>Anticipate upcoming project needs</li><li>To be organized, detail-oriented, and able to follow-through on assigned tasks</li><li>Able to handle stressful situations with equanimity</li><li>Experience in MS Office packages is mandatory, AutoCAD software knowledge is preferred but not mandatory</li></ul><p> </p><p>WHAT’S IN IT FOR YOU</p><p>The Provision approach is to cultivate a positive, fulfilling work atmosphere where our associates are urged to think innovatively, work collaboratively and find cutting-edge solutions.
