POSITION
Business Excellence Officer/Specialist
CLIENT
Department of Civil Aviation, one of the Airports in UAE.
ROLE
- To develop a process-oriented culture and drive Business Excellence initiatives across the Department of Civil Aviation, Airport.
- Create focused groups across the organization to design, manage and improve processes towards creating an excellence culture.
- Develop Centre of Excellence. Also capture, share and adopt best practices from within and from across leading organizations.
- Act as SPOC for monitoring organization performance against the agreed SLA/KPIβs defined.
- Continuously scan, review and study emerging Industry leading practices for Process improvements specifically areas where new technologies are being implemented globally and in UAE.
- Work closely with Strategy, Quality Assurance and HSE for optimum utilization of resources and bring in measurable improvement in the key processes.
- BE Application writing through a collaborative approach for all categories. Enabling Conducting workshops, group discussions regarding collection of salient points, adherence to UAE Government Excellence Model criteria, development of requisite literature, graphics, and pictorial representations.
- Effective addressing of OFIs from GEM review by Government appointed entities, through conducting Action planning workshop and later conducting periodic reviews with each depts.
- Conducting periodic surveys with Customers (Airlines, Freight Forwarders & Tenants, etc.)
- Knowledge and experience in world class business excellence models (GEM, EFQM, Malcolm Baldrige, Six Sigma, QMS etc.
