We invite you to join one of the most successful international Contract Logistics Business Development Manager to join our team in Dubai, U.A.E.<p><br></p><strong> Your Role </strong><p><br></p>Contract Logistics Business Development Manager will be responsible to develop existing or new Contract Logistics business within the given strategy for a country and / or a cluster. They are the primary contact within a country/cluster with regard to Contract Logistics business. Business Development Manager will be responsible has to set actions in order to ensure the utilization of existing capabilities, to increase/develop new business and monitor the market trends within the country / cluster.<p><br></p><strong>Your Responsibilities</strong><p><br></p><ul><li>Draft a strategy and Business development plan for the country/cluster specific Contract Logistics Market and update the related activities on a yearly basis.</li><li>Develop strong opportunity pipeline for Contract Logistics sales opportunities and driving tactical sales measures to fill idle space.</li><li>Identify contacts of potential and target customers align with strategy [industry, products, and geographies], open doors and start a relationship on local level.</li><li>Prioritisation of Industry focus and customers (TOP200, R/NKAΒ΄s) for the country.</li><li>Value assessment of tenders and opportunities for Contract Logistics, initiating of Go no Go decision process (must for TOP 200 Accounts)</li><li>Ownership of the sales process for local tender projects. In addition will work on RFI/RFQ/RFP written responses.</li><li>Coordinate the response with all relevant business fields within Kuehne + Nagel and engage the required resources, in order to finalize the value solution.</li><li>Articulate the customer demand and specific request within the project to ensure the right internal understanding for the solution design. Articulate the proper solution description to avoid misunderstandings or wrong interpretations</li><li>Clean Pipeline overview in company system and Documentation of monthly management report & Bi – monthly regional sales call.</li></ul><p><br></p><strong>Your Skills And Experiences</strong><p><br></p><ul><li>Experience (5+ years) with national sales, account management, and proven success in business development.</li><li>Solid understanding and experience of the theory and practice of supply chain management, transportation management in particular.</li><li>Experience in Retail, High-tech, Industrials/chemicals, and Automotive or Pharmaceutical/Healthcare industries.</li><li>Ability to provide clear direction to operations support staff to gather necessary data and implement the right solution.</li><li>Good Project management skills.</li><li>Excellent communication and organizational skills.</li><li>Ability to handle effectively multiple projects and tasks simultaneously.</li><li>Strong customer focus, Independent, self-motivated and highly disciplined.</li></ul><p><br></p><strong> Good Reasons to Join </strong><p><br></p>We offer an employee-friendly environment for you to develop and grow to become a skilled transportation logistics professional in a challenging and fast-developing company with a competitive salary and opportunities for further development within the Kuehne + Nagel Group.
