<p><span>The Business Development Manager </span><span> will lead initiatives to generate and engage with business partners to build new business for the company. They are</span><span> often the point of contact for potential or existing clients, who seek to understand the client’s needs and objectives, and develop strategies and business solutions that will meet both SWB and the client’s needs. The BDM also responds to RFP’s, tenders, and develops sales in new sales territories.</span></p><p><br></p><p>This candidate will be focused and have strong communication skills. They should be able to think critically when making plans and have a demonstrated ability to execute a particular strategy. </p><p> </p><p><span>Responsibilities: </span></p><p><br></p><ul><li><span>Contacting potential clients to establish rapport and arrange meetings, including annual global sponsors, event sponsors, and new chapter launches.</span></li><li><span>Developing quotes and proposals for clients. </span></li><li><span>Developing product offerings, including SWB’s media products, events, and subscription for chapters.</span></li><li><span>Developing sales in new sales territories.</span></li><li><span>Planning and overseeing new marketing initiatives.</span></li><li><span>Researching organizations and individuals to find new opportunities.</span></li><li><span>Increasing the value of current customers while attracting new ones.</span></li><li><span>Finding and developing new markets.</span></li><li><span>Attending conferences, meetings, and industry events.</span></li><li><span>Developing goals for business growth and ensuring they are met.</span></li><li><span>Liaising with and supporting Chapter managers, training them and helping them meet their goals.</span></li></ul><p><br></p><p><span>Your profile</span></p><p><br></p><ul><li><span>Bachelor’s degree in sales, marketing, business or related field.</span></li><li><span>Minimum 3 years Experience in sales, marketing or related fields.</span></li><li><span>Strong communication skills and IT fluency.</span></li><li><span>Ability to manage complex projects and multi-task.</span></li><li><span>Excellent organizational skills.</span></li><li><span>Ability to be proactive, handle uncertainty, and work independently as part of a team. </span></li><li><span>Leadership skills.</span></li><li><span>Proficient in Project Management tools</span></li><li><span>Proficiency in English and Arabic.</span></li></ul><p><br></p><p><span>Startups Without Borders is proud to be an equal opportunity workplace.
