We’ve also picked up a number of awards including numerous CODiEs, Academics’ Choice and Edtech Digest to name a few.<br><br><strong>THE ROLE<br><br></strong>We are seeking a business development executive who will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with key stakeholders, and executing strategic sales initiatives to achieve revenue targets. This position requires strong business acumen, excellent communication skills, and a passion for educational technology. This person will become a trusted resource and develop relationships with prospects, acting as the initial point of contact.<br><br>Given the scale-up nature of the company, you will need to be flexible and inventive in your approach to this role. We bias heavily toward action over inaction and look for people with a can-do attitude.<br><br><strong>Responsibilities<br><br></strong><ul><li>Conduct outbound outreach through: drop in visits , cold calling, social media, email, and other sales outreach techniques.</li><li>Identify and pursue new business opportunities within schools in the UAE market</li><li>Drive the sales process from prospecting to closure, including lead generation, qualifying prospects, delivering sales presentations, negotiating contracts, and closing deals. </li><li>Meet and exceed sales targets to drive revenue growth.</li><li>Build and maintain relationships with teachers, HODs, principals, and other key stakeholders </li><li>Develop a deep understanding of Matific’s educational technology platform and its features. Effectively communicate the value proposition to potential clients and tailor solutions to meet their specific needs.</li><li>Use Salesforce to manage and track sales activities.</li><li>Deliver to quarterly and annual targets</li><li>Develop a range of opportunities </li><li>Contribute to Matific in regard to best practices and sales enablement<br><br></li></ul>Requirements:<br><br><ul><li>4+ years of proven experience in business development, sales, or a similar role, preferably in the education or edtech industry.</li><li>Strong consultative sales skills with self-motivation and drive for results</li><li>Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.</li><li>Selling to small-medium businesses/ Selling technology or education products</li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills</li><li>Strong analysis and presentation skills</li><li>Strong problem-solving skills coupled to a results-driven mindset with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.</li><li>Experience in the education sector is beneficial but not required</li><li>High energy, motivated and driven to succeed</li><li>A can-do attitude with hands-on approach</li><li>A hunter mindset and always ready to raise the bar working approach</li><li>Valid UAE driving license</li><li>Fluency in English and Arabic</li><li>UAE nationals and or under own visa<br><br></li></ul>Benefits:<br><br><ul><li>A business with a vital purpose, of providing quality education to children everywhere</li><li>A fast and exciting scale-up environment</li><li>Edtech is a booming industry </li><li>Work closely alongside seasoned successful entrepreneurs</li><li>Opportunity to innovate and challenge the status quo</li><li>Great remuneration</li></ul>
