Job Description

Primarily responsible for sourcing students that want to study English, by creating business-to-business partnerships with education agencies within the Chinese education sector and introducing them to our Company. Fully responsible for heading the Chinese sales department.

 

Responsibilities

DEALING WITH AGENCIES 

•      Fully responsible for heading up the Chinese sales department.

•      Work closely with agencies to source students who choose to study in English and introduce them to the company’s programmes. 

•      Train and educate agencies on our programmes and keep them updated about new promotions, prices, programmes, and processes.

•      Participate in webinars, and live with the agencies in order to promote our programs.

•      Provide accurate and detailed information regarding ES’s services including courses, fees, visas, accommodation, etc.

•      Regular reporting of current appointments and interviews to the CCO and Regional Manager.

•      Assist the marketing department to create content in Chinese for social media campaigns (flyers, Facebook, Instagram adverts etc.)

•      Build sustainable relationships with agencies.

•      Make multiple outbound calls to secure potential clients.

•      Understand the client’s needs and offering solutions and support.

•      Management of all payments, following up with agencies regarding invoices and refunds. 

 

DEALING WITH STUDENTS 

  • Full enrolment of students including but not limited to: creating a student file for each student, preparing invoices for the finance department, and creating reports for airport transfers and accommodation through the internal CRM portal. 
  • Registration of students in the CRM portal. 
  • Supporting students on arrival and maintaining contact with them throughout the duration of their programmes.
  • Offering new students, a face-to-face induction, providing them with a welcome pack and showing them to their assigned classrooms. 
  • Working closely with the finance department to ensure that all relevant payments are captured and paid. 
  • Working closely with the PRO to ensure that student visas are processed timeously. 

Qualifications

•      Chinese native.

•      Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a sales position.

•      Knowledge of the education market and agencies in Chinese-speaking countries.

•      Fluent in English.

•      Strong communication and presentation skills.

•      Experience in the full sales cycle.
